Last October I visited along with my friend and family . Scenic beauty is fentustic .Mr.Rai running a home stay. You have to adjust for an accomodation and other to enjoy the beauty.

Absolutely not,I stayed there for last two days,we had attached washrooms and they were clean as well,in fact all the rooms have attached washrooms

I was planning to go to Darjeeling via silliguri, so is this in between en route to Darjeeling?

@@codebros13 First you stay in Darjeeling for 2 days. Because so many sight seen are there you can see in Darjeeling. Third day come back from Darjeeling. And if you want to come in this nice homestay i.e. Rongo River Valley Homestay on the same day, it will be so hectic journey. Because from Siliguri to Rongo it will take minimum 3 hours. So better stay in Siliguri. Next day go to Rongo River Valley Homestay. There you stay for one day. Next day you may come back from there.
Or
1st Day: Darjeeling
2nd Day: See most of the sight seen in Darjeeling and in the afternoon come back from Siliguri and stay in Siliguri.
3rd Day: Go to Rongo River Valley Homestay from Siliguri.
4th Day: Back from Rongo.
Or
1st Day: Rongo River Valley Homestay
2nd Day: Back from Rongo and go to Darjeeling.
3rd Day: Stay whole day in Darjeeling and see the sight seen.
4th Day: Back 😊

I am giving an approx ...
Driver charge minimum 1500/- + and whenever you will leave the car, you have to fill the tanky full (tanky to tanky). Or you can fix a rate per km wise ..like Rs. 15/- per km.... whenever you will hire a car , check and note the metre...and whenever you will leave , check the metre again..
Then calculate total km and pay as per km wise rate....
But the driver charge is mandatory....
