Love this video! I have been living in London for the past 6 years and I never felt so lonely as in London. I now moved back to my original country close to my family.. I think having family near by helps a lot!
Love this vlog! So good to see normal day to day aspects, and also good for you sharing experiences of loneliness. I'm definitely going to try out some of the tips you mentioned and restaurants next time I'm in London
I'm 10/10 saving this video for my next trip to London! There where so many lovely places to eat I just couldn't decide while there!! Also what you said about loneliness was so relatable, even for me as a student...
I can relate with the loneliness, I’m currently on maternity and my little one is 6 months old. I sometimes don’t know what to do with days! Walking is good though xx
Its crazy how we are constantly on technology/social media yet we are all feeling so lonely! People live in a bubble! Thanks for the tips..love the video :-))
Any advice for loneliness in chronic illness? All my friendships have pretty much fallen away (I got sick after having my first child almost 8 years ago). I'm mostly house bound at the moment and sometimes bedbound. All my friends have kind of moved on which makes me sad...
hey lovely, I'd love to help but it's hard over the screen. Do things that make you happy, find positives in every day and keep yourself busy when you can. sending lots of love xx
Shalom liz Basically, what we're suffering from nowadays is the breakdown of the "tribe". Humans evolved in close nit tribes, we hunted together, got through trauma together and our happiness and mental well-being was connected to our tribe. When you get rid of the tribal nature of human beings, people become lonely and depressed and axious etc. People who still live in tribal societies don't know the meaning of loneliness or depression even if they live harsh lives, i went to many tribal regions around the middle east and africa and have seen this first hand. So i would advice you to not care so much about friends or neighbours, but connect more often with your relatives and make a "clan" out of them, this might be weird and un conventional nowadays, but trust me it's very good for your mental well-being cuz it's just human nature.
