Little add on to this is on pull timer in raid environments use Battle Shout + Berserker rage for the bonus rage and then precast shattering throw for the armor reduction
Couple notes: sweeping strikes does not work with Cleave, only single target abilities. And for heroic raiding you will be taking incite not blood and thunder talent so you cannot use thunder clap to spread rend. You could make an off spec for trash and multi target fights but tbh not necessary. Also the expertise cap you want is 26% not 14%
Yeah I use the incite build for boss fights and smaller pulls of 1-3 targets, then I use blood and thunder for large trash pulls inbetween, would definiteley say it's worth it for the amount of damage rend + bladestorm does!
@@guccix1411 you could do that but executioner is quite a good talent considering you use execute as a filler ability in the execute phase, so an increase in base attack speed just builds your rage faster for higher execute bursts. Though i'm not 100% sure, you'd have to sim it. I generally just run dual spec, one with full points in incite for single target fights and one with blood & thunder/incite for AoE, and find it works pretty effectively.
Rend-MS>CS>OP>Slam HS to bring rage below 75 before swapping between stances this has its own GCD Using your abilities after your weapon swings help with the rhythm of this rotation/priority.
Do you have a leveling guide for Warrior? Great video! Ty for making it I’m stepping into the cataclysm expansion and having a blast with Arms leveling
Why is no guide covering the execute. How is it sometimes hitting for around 10k nm dmg and 12-20k crits and sometimes hit for blood 50k nm dmg and 100-160k crit. What is the difference? I have tried with all buffs up + saving 40 rage when i use it to call out that dmg but it dosent, seems fully random to me. Anyone alhas any explanation to this?
Am i supposed to spam execute and only keep mortal strike and CS on cd? Or am i just gonna smash that 1 button and pray for that 100k + crit? All this info is guides are quite ovbious and generoc but i feel the most important dmg dealer part is no touched by any guide..
Battle should is generally better but remember it doesnt stack with the DK ability or shamans totem I dont think so if you already have one thats doing that buff, commandings better
Dodge cap is 6.5% (26 points) Parry cap is 14% (56 points) If you're behind the target you can actually ignore the parry cap and don't have to go as high!
You want a skill of 26 expertise or a 781 rating in order to be dodge capped. There are no % other than the reduction it provides to either dodge or parry.
Because the lambs to the slaughter talent makes your MS increase other abilities damage. After rend is applied your goal should be to get 3 stacks of slaughter as quick as possible. Colossus smash is typically my 3rd global that I use after rend and MS -90 parsing arms war (heroic)
Little FYI, Slam keeps casting while moving so mobility is not an issue with slam!
I was thinking the same, besides it’s only .5 second cast

Also do yourself a favor and macro your stance changes with your abilities, you should never manually stance change.

Yo what would you think of dropping the talents in executioner to put talents into both incite and blood and thunder ?

@ yea I used to run the two diff specs but now my os is a pvp spec and just tryna build the best pve spec I can for all purposes.

Why would you use heroic leap in your ST rotation? It does fuck all for damage, even for AOE, and you've lost your get out of shit fast ability.

Mate how many overpowers are you looking to land when switching to battle stance and have the tfb procs?
Quick tip - heroic strike does not have gcd
Is there a way to reliably trigger back to back overpower procs?
Get a weak auro to track the overpower window and cast just before it refreshes.
Not working at all 6k dps at ilvl354
shouldn't you use Battle shout when extra rage is needed instead of commanding shout for the extra 500+ strength it gives?
Yes whichever one you're responsible for keeping up! Just note the glyphs will change depending on which one you're using

Why not use colossus smash before mortal strike ?
Cause Icy Veins wrote it that way! Probably.

So do we just ignore whirlwind now?
