Dear UN Volunteers, I sincerely ask if you can please add Assyrian/Neo-Aramaic to the list of languages. This is my mother tongue and it is not listed. It also appears that Kyrgyz is not listed. I've noticed on several UN recruitment platforms that Assyrian is not listed as a language! Only the new UNDP recruitment platform has listed Assyrian! Very much look forward to your reply.

i speak fluent english (better and more accent-free than the woman in the video), without ever having lived in an english speaking country, nor do i have any ancestry of english-speakers. I'm simply very good at picking up languages and learned it by watching tv in English. By the time i was 14, half a year after starting to watch TV in english, i was ranked B2 on a Cambridge certificate i did on vacation in England, and knew more English vocabulary than the 18 year olds in my school.
Being required to tell you how i got to know the language is weird.
