My thing is why does anyone really expect the coaches to publicly call out a player to the media? Of course they’re gonna lie and protect the player
Sounds to me like the wheels are falling off and the season is lost already and if it’s not lost it’s inevitable that it will be. How are we stuck in this purgatory of mediocrity once again. This franchise needs to take a long hard look in the mirror. We have been the essence of failure for what seems like an eternity now
The problem is was and always has been Mike Tomlin. He is by far the most overrated coach in the NFL. He just got resigned to 3 more years and he isn’t going anywhere. So yes we are in Purgatory for at least 3 more seasons after this one! Unfortunately this is where we are!

Load Management? Stop protecting the player. Call him/her out and see what difference that makes when they get the attention of not being a team player. We do this is business all the time, even with great talent. Poor babies cannot have their FEELINGS hurt. Oh, My!!

I think you guys miss the point. Tomlin said what he said to make it obvious as to why Pickens wasnt playing as much. He basically told you why with a see through meaning. Yet you guys drone on and on about lying. Even a child knows why he said what he did. He did it in such a way as to give George one last chance. Not impressed with your sophomoric takes gentlemen. With your replies to what he did just shows me he schooled you as well because you still dont get it. Tell me your collective IQs are higher than this, please.
