GMRS Repeater Tower Install Part 3

Sorry for no narration but been busy trying to get this thing up. I'm still waiting on a part to come in before it can be completely done. So I'll be adding a 6-8 foot pole to tip top and then the antenna off that. So when all is said and done we should be around 60 feet.

I would love to see some close up pictures of how you setup and braced your winch. I want to build something very similar. I imagine the tension on that line could do some real damage to the shack if not reinforced well. I don't want to rip apart my shack roof.

Oh, a full video will be coming this week. We just got everything up and done yesterday. I hate to admit it but the winch is very, let's say, redneck installed but I will show you for sure!

@Rusted_Link we're hitting right around 20 miles from the repeater. Not looking to get further with these upgrades, just better coverage in our current area.
