Thames Trader Jennings cattle carrier and Esso dispensers no. M7 and A1. Renovation.

These two sets produced by Lesney are related because they appeared on the toy market at the same time. ESSO fuel dispensers appeared earlier, of course, in 1956. A cattle truck joined the Lesney collection in 1960. My copies were complete, but they required refreshing and minor repairs. Beautiful work on these models, Paul. I am fond of the petrol pumps. I have four of them but no signs I am making signs out of aluminum tubing, steel washers for the base and aluminum plate for the ovals. I have one made but not painted. Three more to go, then paint.

Another great restoration! Have you ever tried putting the clear coat on “after” you put the decals on? Just curious if you think that would help protect the decals better?

Dinky a produit une version plus petite de ses modèles au début des années 1960 et l'a appelée Dublo. ils ont été fabriqués en Angleterre. ça n'a rien à voir avec la Corée. Cordialement
