After working completely alone on this project and having obtained permission from both DSP Entertainment and Studio PAV for the creation of a custom crystal trophy for KARD and a 9 and a half-minute video that would be shown on the screen at Sala But just before the trophy was presented, without any reason, without giving me any explanation, and without receiving any apology, they decided not to show the video I made and only gave the trophy to the members without context.
This was not just a gift for KARD but also for the fans, as the video was a surprise for the members and all attendees.
Before making the video, Studio PAV was rushing me via email to finish the video as soon as possible, which is why I spent several days sleeping only 2 hours to finish it as quickly as possible. And all for what? For them not to show the video on the day of the concert.
Even though I had their permission in the emails and they had indicated that I had to deliver the trophy at the time of check-in, they knew absolutely nothing about the trophy when I went to deliver it. I had to explain what the project was about, that a video would appear on the screen just before the trophy was presented. I explained that there would be a countdown from 10 to 1, followed by a black fade, and then KARD's photo would appear on the screen. I explained that at that moment, someone from the staff should enter with the trophy. They listened to what I was saying and kept me waiting to talk to other staff members. Finally, they took the trophy and, to my surprise, when it came time to present the trophy to the KARD members, it was a complete disaster.
I know that watching this video on TH-cam does not feel at all like it would have felt to see it at the concert. I also will not see KARD's faces reacting to this video, although after my complaints and seeking explanations, their manager approached me to assure me that he would personally show the video to the KARD members after the concert. Nobody guarantees that this happened, and even if it did, that is not what we had agreed upon. I have not received any explanations or apologies from anyone. I have sent an extensive email, but so far I have received no response, and I don't know if I ever will.
I feel disappointed. Not just because this is not how people and their work should be treated, but because I have spent the last 3 months working on several projects at once to make this concert perfect and unforgettable for everyone, and it has been a complete mess. When I work on something, I like to do things right, and I am not at all satisfied with the result. I won't lie, I didn't enjoy the moment of the trophy because my reaction was one of absolute concern and confusion. That’s why in the video you can hear me repeatedly asking about the video, as well as having conversations with staff members.
Please, I encourage you to help me share this video on social media and mention the members of KARD so they can see it. I would also appreciate mentions to Studio PAV and DSP Entertainment asking for explanations and apologies for what happened. It is not right that they commit to doing things and then back out. I am not just another fan spending her money on a concert; I am a human being, with occupations and feelings, who spent her free time for months on completely voluntary work. I deserve explanations and apologies at the very least, even though not even that will change the outcome or how I feel.
