Who doesn’t love J-Hope? He’s so irresistibly adorable. Kind of a spaz sometimes, but we’re here for it!
Suga broke down because his parents was against his passion and love for music. It often leads to fight with his parents so when he saw his parents the first time innone of their concert....he broke down and bowed or kneel down in front of them as this was the highest form of respect a person can give in Korean culture. He was actually happy to know that his parents came to accept his love for his craft and for sure they are happy and proud of him.
His parents were the ultimate "music dont pay the bills" type people
@@chickennoodlesoup3301 I really can’t imagine how much pressure Yoongi had to face because of that. To be so passionate, desperate, but not having the people around him approve of him. The fellow underground rappers that looked down on him, his parents who didn’t support him, a future that was so insecure, to gather up the amount of courage to still love music despite all of that as a teenager and pursuing his dream. I’m glad his parents are proud and happy for him now, and I’m so happy that he’s so close to this family and feels support from them. I just had to rant because I relate to him so much, but I didn’t have the courage he had to still pursue what I like. So I really understand what he faced and he’s really so brave and passionate
@@mintgi4136 plus 90% of becoming famous or a successful whatever is based off of luck. He was real lucky. I see people who have tried YEARS just never get it. we're fortunate to have someone actually talented be blessed with the chance to become what he is.

All the boys really love dogs! RM has Monie, Suga has Holly, J-Hope has Mickey, V has Yeontan, and Jungkook has Bam and Gureum. They're all so adorable. Jimin had a dog named Ddosun and Jin had a dog named Jjangu, but they both passed away. Both Jimin and Jin have said how hard it was for them when they died. Jin even wrote a song called Tonight in remembrance of Jjangu and his pet sugar gliders, Odeng and Eomuk, who also passed away. All the guys in BTS have such big, lovely hearts. To paraphrase your newly discovered bias, J-Hope, you will find that loving BTS is the best decision you ever made! 😊
I can tell that you are genuinely falling in love with our boys. I love The Rise of Bangtan. No matter how many times I have watched this episode, I will keep crying with them. It’s truly a beautiful moment.
Men don’t this. Is what you said. And I honestly truly wish more men did. You are all just like us. You feel emotions. You have tenderness as well and feelings that overflow. I really wish society told y’all that actually facing tl emotions and even expressing them is actually a sign of strength. Owning yourself and what is inside of you. I really truly wish for that.
Also I hope that there will be many men who will grow up with bangtan as examples about how honesty and vulnerability can be strengths. I really hope
It doesn’t mean that you have to be a wuss or let people walk over you. And I think too many confuse the 2. Real strength coming from being honest with yourself and with those around you. Makes everyone better
AWWW hobi bias?!?!? That's so cute it's hard to resist his lovely smile and overflowing positivity. You can't help but be drawn to him in some way LMAO. That dog at 14:20 is not his. Taehyung does have a dog and it's a pomeranian named yeontan but most people call him tannie!! Very adorable indeed. Jimin would love to get a dog however he feels at this point in his life, he wouldn't be able to properly take care of one. I know for sure he'll get one eventually. He's also allergic to cats.
HAHAHA this chapter in particular had a lot of people weeping. The first time i was a complete wreck. Namjoon's speeches are always full of so much love and wisdom and he really does have a way with words. Strap yourself in because there are many emotional moments coming up in the future. Brace yourself. I absolutely love when the boys open up with us and become vulnerable. That's a side you don't see from a lot of artists and it's so scary to put your feelings and thoughts out there. They're such brave men. This album, young forever, is my favourite. PS: It's hard to see the sun cry. Once hobi cries, everyone will cry.
I belive Jin's mom was supportive of him when he joined BigHit. His dad was a bit worried he might not be able to finish college but Jin was able to do both. He was successful in his career as singer and was able to finished a degree in college. And yes people are anticipating for Jin the actor as this was his first love...I hope someday it happens too.
Jim its gonna get more and more emotional (the episodes in this documentary). Prepare your tissues, Rise of bangtan makes us emo and cry as the eps go 😂
Ive watched it before but still cant help crying again while watching it with you..i am already almost 70yrs old but that doesnt stop me from loving these boys.
I have watched it a few times too and I still cried every time. I'm about 62 and I love BTS so much that I even surprised myself.

The courage of BTS to be emotionally genuine and vulnerable as men is a positive influence on the world. Their generation, which is the same as my kids and their friends, are changing the world in so many positive ways and I am 100% here for it.
Men hiding their emotions is part of toxic masculine culture. I get weepy when they do as well, but in the concert where they cry in this episode, they are joyful tears. They don’t make me sad. I cry for joy along with them. Because I am human and empathy is a good thing.
I really enjoyed rewatching the series with you. Your commentary is always on point. Even I have watched this chapter a few times I still cried my eyes out. I love how BTS members are not afraid to show their real emotions and vulnerability to us. They have really given masculinity a new definition.
I was randomly suggest Dope on youtube when it came out and having never heard K Pop before, I was STUNNED at how amazing it was. Insta crush on Jimin with his red hair.

I was balling my eyes out as well when I watched this episode so I felt you there Jim. Anyway, as I have mentioned before, the guys' ending ments are one of the things I look forward to during their concerts because they are always sincere and truly beautiful moments.

Every time I hear reactors I like discovering they have a bias, I can't stop giggling, it is an indication of a lot of things, very good things. I am OT7 and I seem to have reactors with very different biases and I love it! Also RUN is amazing, I literally used to look forward to Tuesday just for that (at the moment they are taking a break but you have waaaaaaaaaay too much content to even notice the break, trust me 😂😂) ... okay let me get back to your reaction!
I remember it exist a video classment with a top 20 of boysband popularity ranking and I remember when BTS first arrived and I remember when Dope drop, BTS were in 7 position back then, I was so happy to saw them moving to the top year after year

No surprise you found yourself with our sunshine and hope as your bias, not that you could go wrong regardless of which member you fell on :) but yes, the first point most people say why they fell in love with BTS is that they're so genuine, but like no one believes it until they start watching the content - you can't fake what these guys are in any way shape or form...
I know I am late to your journey with BTS Jim, but as a fellow J-Hope bias I am so looking forward to getting to the point where you were discovering his mixtape and his album.

You felt that emotions when Hobi was crying... and you are only months into BTS.
Me and so many other ARMYs almost grow up with BTS for years. BTS pulled me through darkness, show me light, hold my hand, lend me shoulder, pat my head and gave me courage, gave me reasons to not give up. And this is why a lot of us is ready to lay our life for them... I owe them that.
I hope now you will start to realise why BTS mean so much to so many of us and that goes beyond their music, looks or mv.

While I agree that they keep getting better and better hyyh is still my favorite era! There’s just something so nostalgic about it even though I wasn’t army at the time and I have a connection with almost every song from that era more than any other.
Although I prefer to these boys crying but first knowing the reason behind it I am so happy for them and second, as we know, men not showing emotions is more or less an issue and most importantly for themselves. I often wonder how amazing it is to have such role models to stand in front of a crowd and sing about loving yourself or accepting yourself and also showing all these emotions.
We have quite a few female singers singing about self love and vulnerability. It's so refreshing and touching to see a boy band (more like a groupie of men artists) advocate for such issues. I wished more men were open to BTS. This would be so good for our youth growing up both men and women.

So if I am not mistaken the instrument that was used in dope is not a saxophone, it is a traditional Korean instrument called Taepyeongso.

@@JimGames Yes, I can't remember where I first heard this information, so all I could find was Korean people talking about it on internet forums. I tried to find a concrete source on whether it is 태평서 (taepyeongso) or if it was a saxophone being played in the style of taepyeongso. My Korean it's not that great yet, so my searching ability is limited, but it's either one of these options.
I highly recommend looking for youtube videos of this instrument because it is really fascinating, and you will be able to hear the resemblance!

Suga parent never agree if suga choose music...and they poor... suga self produce music only sell for 1 or 2 dollar... he even have to choose the money for eat or take a bus.... if he choose for eat..then he need walk to his home... he also do several jobs at atime.... and there is a day someone steal his song.... in one of suga lyric he said "no problem i just can make another song..its easy"....at that videp suga cry bcoz that is the first time his parent finally come to his concert.... they never came before and never agree with suga decision... his parent want suga to study, collage and earn money for family

@@JimGames Definitely. Every song has a different fanchant depending on lyrics and flow of the song. The one I wrote above it's like the MAIN fanchant. (There videos on YT to practice this fanchant in the particular rhythm and temp XD)
Fanchants are like of artist-fan interaction like without drowning the singer with the singing, random screaming and yelling.. its like YOU WANNA SING AND SCREAM?? WE'LL GIVE YOU SOMETHING TO SCREAM. JUST SCREAM IT IN RHYTHM XD
