Just putting ‘science’ after ‘Social sciences’ and ‘Economic Sciences’ doesn’t make them any more legitimate . That is what Economics in the West has become or it was always like that. Amartya Sen wrote that in1943 in Bengal 5 million people died of starvation because those who were employed in the war effort have eaten too much. He also got the Nobel Prize.
