Yes, I’m slowly getting up to speed with canal boat manoeuvres, my representation of a winding hole/canal pool may have some compromises 🫣 As for the decking, I pinched it from Alan Titmarsh…😂
Hi Peachy, lots of work involved but a labour of love. Could you tell me, did you remove the wire spring from the Unifrog points to accommodate the cobolt switch motors for a more realistic movement.
Thanks Lindsay, glad you like it. As for the points, no I didn’t remove the spring as these are “Hand-o-matic” operated from behind the backscene, see Camelot episodes 2&3
Loving that knackered oily old planking with its gaps and broken edges. Really captures the atmosphere of a well used engine shed.
Cheers 🍻
Really good video. Clear and easy to follow.
Cheers 🍻
Looks wonderful
Cheers, episode 8 is out tomorrow morning
A lot of work there it’s going to look amazing
Cheers Ian
Very good, love the decking.
Thank you. Simple but effective
I'm very impressed so far mate, the weathering on the wood in particular is really effective, especially in that scale.
@@BuggleskellyStation cheers Tom. I just need to crack on and get it finished 😂
@@PeachyTT120 don't rush it. I started my OO9 layout Crovan's Castle in 2021. the 4th update was 9 months ago, the 5th is coming sometime next month!
@@BuggleskellyStation I look forward to that 👍
Another great episode - thank you for sharing. Looking forward to the next one!
Cheers, that will be the fitting of the door mechs & lights then the roof. Then on to excavating the road tunnel/bridge into the yard I think?
It's going to be spectacular.
Cheers Trevor. 😊
Unfortunately, there are no more Wilcos (for the lights at the end). Should get some amongst Christmas lights soon though. Love the Roundhouse.
Cheers.
And yes that was a shame about Wilcos, (especially for the staff)
Good stuff
Cheers Mike
Are all the planned buildings Hornby TT120 Peachy?
@@davefabo no. None of them are. They’re all from the Scalescenes OO range, just printed off at 63% to reduce them to 1:120
You have to release - shunt the canal boat 😂
The roundhouse decking is impressive, I may have to nick that idea!

Maybe the corner could incorporate a bit more Canal.. i think Scalescenes do a diorama type thing that may take your fancy 👍
Oh good idea… do you mean like using part of their industrial canal box file? That just might work🤔
@@PeachyTT120 Yes thats the one, it looks great, maybe it could be used in someway on your layout 👍
@@ThisWayWorksTWW yeah “that way works” 🤦♂️😁

Hi peachy120, can I ask where you got your canal boats from? many thanks
The ones in the video were off of eBay, but are actually N gauge. When I get around to it I’ll be making mine from the scalescenes kits.
@PeachyTT120 Thanks for the quick reply, do the n gauge canal boats look OK for TT , or too small?
@@davidrigby7984 I think these UK versions at approx 1:140-ish are pretty close to 1:120
Hi peachy, what turntable is that?
Hi, it’s made by Roco, see this video earlier in my “Camelot” playlist;
