Thanks for this review, I've had a Concept2 rower for a long time and love rowing, but really wasn't sure how the Bike Erg would stack up. This video highlighted a lot of the features that the concept2 website did not. Excited to order once I get to the top of the waitlist!
No not at all. It is something to get use to but after consistently using the bike erg it just becomes second nature. Plus a little music can help “damper” the noise 😆
Great review. Got a C2 RowErg, on waitlist for a BikeErg. I'm a keen cyclist, the saddle is standard rails pal, so you can switch it out. Recommend Fizik Arione or Specialized Body Geometry. Any cycling seat will fit. Sadly covid tax is on cycling kit too... Well it is here in UK
How does it store in the garage? I'm in the Chicagoland area so burning up in the summer and sub zero in the winter. Any issues with the belt/other parts?
I do have one concern about the maintainance. Since the flywheel locate right below the handle, while cycling intensely, sweat dripping from your face to drop right on the flywheel. Does that make maintainance difficult?
Hey Aaron. The great thing about concept 2 is that there is little to no maintenance with the ergs. Typically when I sweat t it goes directly to the ground and the air from the flywheel helps direct it there. If you don’t have one yet don’t hesitate!
Nice vid! I’m on the waitlist for a C2 bike and rower which are coming up this week. For first piece, what would you recommend? I was leaning rower but now thinking bike!
That’s a tough one! It really depends on your style of work out. If you are more into CrossFit I would say start with the rower first. Because if you consistently use the rower you will definitely use the bike erg. I try and use every piece of equipment at least once or twice a week! Let me know what you decide.
Great Review! Your a natural at this and Concept2 should link this video

Yes! It is fun to mix up your training! I have plenty of work outs to share when you get at the top of the waitlist!!!
As a garage gym guy yours is what I wish I had. Subscribed and on the waitlist for a BikeErg.
Thanks Tom! My before and after pictures are pretty drastic. Keep that vision alive and add piece by piece!
@@GoodtimeswiththeGoodies you’re killing it sir, inspirational to say the least
Thanks for the review! I loved the video.
I have a rowerg, I'm definitely getting the bikeerg.
Nice!! Let me know how you like it when you get it!
Hey dude, how do you find the noise of the bike erg when riding? Is it uncomfortably loud?
No not at all. It is something to get use to but after consistently using the bike erg it just becomes second nature. Plus a little music can help “damper” the noise 😆
@@GoodtimeswiththeGoodies Thank you :)
@@GoodtimeswiththeGoodies Also, do you notice the handlebars move side to side when using the bike?
Thanks for review, I was on the fence about buying one being that I have the Assault runner, rower, skierg, echo bike….. now where to put it lol
Now your gym is …”complete”😂 glad I could help!
Great review. Mine arrives next week and really looking forward to it
Yes!!! I’m excited for you!

Hey matt! No issues at all. That’s one thing I love about concept 2 products, they last forever with no issues!

@@GoodtimeswiththeGoodiesThanks! Not deep into crossfit but do some olympic lifts, KB and DB work. Might have to flip a coin! I'm in MN too, SKOL!
Great, thorough review!
You can dance with it!
Does it cool your left knee too much ? Thanks
Not to bad. You get use to the fan blowing on your leg.
Hahahaha. I saw that review, too. Pretty funny, in a pitiful way.
Nice review, man!
Thanks dmitri. Now get yourself a bike erg!!
don't you get annoyed with the air flowing at your left leg ?
During the winter time, yes! The air flow is something to get use to. it’s not as bad as the rogue echo bike.
@@GoodtimeswiththeGoodies is there any fender available on the market? This would not be bad if the air flew symetrically on both sides :)
You can replace the seat, handle bars, and pedals….They encourage you to customize to your taste.
I think I will have to give that a try!
900….. I wish…..1800 in Australia 😰😰😰
I should count my blessings! Thanks for watching.
Same in Japan :(
