Mount Zugerberg and Zugerbergbahn in Summer, Switzerland

The Zugerberg (elevation 1039 m) is a mountain near the city of Zug. It is an ideal destination for sport fans and nature lovers. You have a nice view on the lake Zug and the alps.
The Zugerbergbahn (opened 1907) connects Zug (suburb Schönegg, Bus 11) with the mount Zugerberg. It is a single track funicular with a passing loop. Travel time is about 8 minutes.
There is an adventure playground, a sculpture trail, restaurants and many BBQ sites.
You can see in the video the famous mountain bike trail.
Paraglider can start at Zugerberg and land near Oberwil.
The international boarding school Institut Montana Zugerberg was founded in 1926.
