    I love when they turn R rated into family friendly fun

      They did that with Police Academy, Caddyshack, Scary Movie, Revenge of the Nerds, and what else?

      If they still do that so I would love to see them turn Poor Things 2023 into family friendly animated series xD

    I’m pretty sure I completely missed this show as a kid, but loved the movies! I can’t imagine they visited the Blue Oyster Bar in the cartoon? LOL

    I had the dog one. Got it on a random trip to Pennsylvania. It was the only PA toy I had. It's weird how we can remember the place when we got certain toys.

    When Police Academy came to theaters, I was at that perfect age of the young adolescents that thought everything in the movie was side splitting funny.

    The show was huge popular in Italy, and even in the MiddleEast around early 2000s.

    When I was a child I randomly got that action figure where the pants fell down at a yard sale...💁🏻 I always remember thinking that it was a pretty neat feature...🤘🏼💯✔️

    I had the precinct playset, the motorcycle and a few of the figures. Tackleberry was always my favorite

    I remember watching the movies when I was a little kid, but never saw the cartoon.
    Love the figure line.
    That police station is not the firehouse from the Real Ghostbusters line, is it?
    The chopper backpack for the Skyscape Joker was from a cartoon figure line originally, but I forget what line.
    Kenner really get her mileage out of their accessories. :)
    Thanks for the video

    You may've already known, but
    Pee-Wee Herman would sometimes be seen at parties with Elvira, Mr.T, Cyndi Lauper, and Fat Boys.
    Cyndi Lauper, Elvira, and Joan Rivers were close friends of Pee-Wee Herman's. :)

    • @pauljoyner4338
      @pauljoyner4338 ปีที่แล้ว

      Pee Wee Herman actually started in Cheech & Chong movies. I think it is in Cheech & Chong's Next Movie that Pee Wee and Cheech are doing cocaine under the table. It's funny, but it sure ain't Pee Wee's Playhouse material.

    Some of these toys we’re going to be redone as Real Ghostbusters toys that were also not released in the early 90s. In fact Police Academy is kind of a sister line with Ghostbusters.

      Toxic Avenger, sorta
      I remember a line of figs based on the cartoon.
      When I was a kid, I had no knowledge of the movies, so I thought Toxic Avenger was a character from the TMNT universe. :)
      They were in the same aisle, so I figured it was a spinoff. :)

    I never saw Police Academy, I might have to get on that. Also, the Fat Boys are pretty awesome and a bit underrated, hardly ever hear their music on the 80’s music channel anymore (the channels where they play nothing but straight music, no commercials, different from MTV, there’s no video, just the title and artist, think it’s called Music Choice). At least the PA figures are pretty unique though, can’t say that with figures today, especially with MOTU Origins where some figures had action features removed.

    • @shanester1832
      @shanester1832 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ah dude, you gotta watch Police Academy. It's classic wrong & raunchy 80's comedy. Idk about this cartoon though.
      Hopefully you are well versed in the Disorderlies, the Fat Boys movie. I bet that doesn't hold up, used to play all the time but like their music. It just vanished with barely a trace for how big they were.
