Classroom behavior

In this video, a classroom dramatization illustrates a variety of appropriate and inappropriate behaviors by students and the classroom teacher. Viewers are encouraged to make note of the appropriate and inappropriate behaviors. A follow-up video, Classroom Behavior Analysis, features a discussion of some of the behaviors in the video by Dr. Edward J. Sabornie, Professor and Coordinator of the Graduate Program in Special Education at NC State University.
This video was produced and developed as part of a collaborative effort between North Carolina State University's College of Education and the Distance Education and Learning Technology Applications (DELTA) unit. Additional editing by Daniel Lunk.

Inappropriate behavior: @1:33 - The two girls in front and boy on their right are not paying attention to the teacher's instructions. As a matter of fact, the boy didn't pay attention the whole time and didn't do the lesson.

Inappropriate and appropriate behaviors: @02:03 guy was rudely disruptive. The teacher was right in getting on him. If I was the teacher, I would also have told him that if he was paying attention he would have known why he has to read it.
