That era was more sensual by far than the current era. Style has been replace by raw vulgarity. The two are not the same. The femininity of women in times gone by is incredible.

An absolutely brilliant compilation of easy listening music. I suspect most of the musicians and composers who created these songs have passed. Too bad they didn't live to see their music reach iconic status. Ted Nugent, the loud rock musician, tried to buy Muzak with the intention of closing it down. Fortunately, he was thwarted.
@@willemvandeursen3105 Yes true, and he's a bit of a redneck. Decades of subjecting the ears and brain to obnoxiously loud music never produces a man of intellect. But then again, he knows how to live off the land, and I am but a clumsy city dweller bereft of those skills.
@@willemvandeursen3105 Learn to read. You're missing one of the joys in life. I traded Zeppelin for 50's jazz and elevator music a few years ago. Alaska they tell me is a bee-u-2-full state.

Same here. I need to know who these artists are and get some song titles. I've heard lots of these comps of various artists but this is the BEST one so far.
"Try microdosing!" they said. "You're gonna love it!" they said. Yeah, right. I ended up losing my shoe, slipping a disk, screwing up my expensive blow-out, and coming down with a raging case of herpes.
TH-cam is trying to wreck this album by cramming random ads into it. I have albums in my home collection that I can play without ads. Listening to an album online should be no different. You tube should be stopped from doing that.....how much money do they need?!!!
That one at 30:30 is not really a pure disco piece. Furthermore, Longue music has such a wide spectrum of sense and perception, it can well embrace the one in question regardless of the period.
The musicians on these tracks were very competent jazz musicians who would've loved to have been making a better living playing jazz. Playing muzak helped pay the bills. This stuff is well constructed and well played. But imho, as far as musical content - and heart & soul - it's a pale shadow of the jazz and bossa nova it's derived from. Most of us born between 1945 and 1970 _could not stand_ this sterile, mass-produced, silence-filler product - ugh. :^{ (There are records by great instrumentalists that sound kind of similar, but where they actually tried to package their heartfelt musical creativity in this 'easy listening' format; some of that stuff is better.)

Im in my 1967 Lincoln Continental. Just entered the empty interstate and t h e needle jumped from 70 to 100. Good times
Great background music for home office! Brings back memories of Pan Am, TWA and Eastern Airlines airplane stations music in the 70s and 80s 🤗
LOVE IT
yes absolutely, it was all classy back then! And those women! yummy yummy!
I was born a touch late. Damn
The kind of music you listen to to remind yourself it's gonna be okay
amen to that, brother. my "sears catalog" playlist is one of the few things keeping me glued in a world going off the rails.

Adding to my Mall Walking playlist.
The beginning is scenes from the 1967 movie Riot On Sunset Strip, staring Mimsy Farmer.
Good eye mate. She also thrilled us in Hot Rods To Hell, a true must-see camp classic.

Nugent may be a musician (he plays the guitar, right?), but he's more interested in fascism.

@Jim Garrison,
I'm joking. I like all music except operetta and hillbiilly footstomping. And even that has a certain charm, When drunk.
Totally awesome, unreal!!!

Great music
40:58 is Stiletto by The Zack Laurence Orchestra. Great version💙▶
Do you know any more? I can't find any info on this track list.
Wow that one is absolutely gorgeous!! Reminds me of being in a high speed chase on motorcycles in 1970's California 💅🏻🗿
Gracias por su trabajo, es maravilloso, me han alegrado las tardes
Music like this made elevator rides more exciting. And what variety of acid did that woman drop?
Good Lord! That woman is trippin' balls!
It seems like this might also be a good mix for dropping acid.
Maybe I'll give it try ?? All the cool kids are doing it. I want to be a cool kid too.

What movie is the clip from?
The selection at 30:30 mark is not 60s lounge. It is 70s disco and doesn't belong in this compilation unless you plan to change the title.
Agreed. But 50:43 makes up for that miscast.
