You aren't crazy. It's called being lucky enough to have enjoyed a wonderful carefree childhood. Long live the 60s & 70s!

You’re not crazy…it was calmer and more fun to shop department stores back then. Now everything is in our faces, oh and I’m sorry, but I don’t need to hear loud crappy hip-hop and country noise every time I shop!

I was shy when I was young and hiding away in the clothing racks made going out in public a little easier. My mom was fine with it and she knew I wasn’t going far away.

As far as I can tell, these are all original tunes, not instrumental arrangements of pop tunes. I find that remarkable.

These songs were produced for use in films and TV. Not true Muzak but has the same feeling.

At times this reminds me of The Brady Bunch. It was a groovy time and living was easy!

Truth. Today, I just want to cringe every time I go into a store. It just shouldn't be that way.

    Thanks for the upload!
Vintage music, when melody and music and many other things were fantastic until end of 90s. Social media and technology effected people, music etc.. in bad way!

Actually, social media is a reason that you and I are able to enjoy these nice tunes from the past. Otherwise, they would be in someone's dusty closet, accessible to no one. Music started going downhill in the 1980s as the cords and rhythms actually became less complex and more repetitive. This music is awesome, isn't it. A product of a better time and frankly, of better people.

    >>>. 1:25:00. This looks like the Ramada Room at the Holiday Inn , out by the Milwaukee Airport.
My brother used to DJ there in '70's. Good bratwurst and Butter Burgers out there.
