    Dont worry if you dont have any idea what the output of shown commands means... I will not explain it either...
    But look, here is how you create other unreadable gibberish... Use the switches to modify the output in a way I will not explain...
    Could have just made a video showing how to use hackertyper

    if we understood all the details of the commands why would we be coming to a video about networking commands. Don't make videos on things youre not knowledgeable on.

      What's the problem?
      Using outdated commands isn't dangerous.

    No offense, but that entire video was essentially worthless. You never bothered to inform the user of the man page resources for any of the commands, no explanation of the actual naming conventions of commands, etc. In addition you did everything from root and none of those commands require root access. Personally I dont think you know what your doing and Linode has a poor review process if they let this through. Sloppy and sets a bad example.....your fired!

      He abandoned his studies at the UOfT in Computer Sciences because he's got money. I think he should got to the night club and spend some money there rather than making video courses because everything is not just about coding but the knowledge behind it.

    With all due respect... that was a waste of 15 minutes. Why make a beginner video and not explain why the commands exist and what the output is used for?

    Good video, but I'm a little bit tilted that the author is using 'clear' command to clear the terminal instead of using shortcut (ctrl + L on Ubuntu)

    • @Practical-IT
      @Practical-IT 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'd have the same criticism for anyone typing clear on a Mac or cls on a Windows box in PowerShell. Ctrl+L is a universal shortcut these days.
      Save those keystrokes!

    • @korg47237
      @korg47237 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      If they used ctrl+L you'd have viewers be like "wait how are you clearing the terminal?" where typing clear makes it obvious.
