The best gift you can give your kids is to explore and travel the world. No Ivy League education can come close to that. Your kids are 10 steps ahead of most kids. Great job mom and dad
We could not agree more! Our kids are learning so much more by being out in the world and discovering it first hand than they would ever learn from a text book. Although they still have to use those too :)
I totally agree with you Tia. I mentioned To my hisband that their kids will be totally well travelled will have an open mind a sophisticated palette. Their education will be so broad. I’m so impressed too so yeah great job parents👏👏👏
Love the positivity from you guys! Gratitude is important and great to see the kids not putting up a fuss cos they were not traveling in the front! Great parents for letting them experience different cultures and showing respect to everyone! Great job guys!
Really good video. We’re currently in Sing and while, yes, it is one of the most surveiled cities in the world, it’s also one where people have long understood (since Lee Kwan Yew’s time as the head of state) that certain standards of behavior need to be followed in order to make a city as densely populated as Singapore a livable place. So you don’t see people cutting in lines. You see people making seats available on the buses and MRT’s for seniors. You see people leaving all manner of things, including purses and other valuable, to reserve a table at a hawker center while they get their food and never see it moved nor see the table poached. It’s very much like Japan in those ways. Behavioral norms are taught and enforced from a young age. My wife’s from Singapore, so we’ve visited quite often to visit her extended family. And we’ve often talked that if it wasn’t so expensive that it would make a great place to retire. Anyway, again, great video.
Welcome to Singapore! I watched the episode you guys eating at Amoy Street food center and now I found the starting episode to your Singapore trip. Enjoy your stay and I will be watching every episode you guys uploaded about Singapore.
I was hoping to see a channel like this with family traveling together! Your kids are very lucky! I travel with my wife and a 3 year old son and I love too see the world with them. Traveling long distances and exploring new counties with kids is challenging yet rewarding. You guys are very adventurous to do so with 3 kids! Subscribed!
Congratulations on what you are doing with your family. My wife and I have traveled to 6 Continents and 82 Countries. Before our sons grew up and moved out, we had been to 5 Continents and 25 Countries with them.
We truly do not have a single destination that is our favorite. We enjoy meeting and experiencing the people and culture of all the countries we visit. We have been to all 7 Wonders of the Modern World and we found Machu Pichu to be the most impressive given the complexity/precision of its construction, the location of the site, and the stunning beauty of the location. Among the things we usually visit are religious sites. The two most impressive have been St Peter's Basillica in Rome for sheer beauty and the Anghor Wat complex in Siem Reap Cambodia for its scope, scale and detail. I would also add Old City Jerusalem, we stayed several nights in the Arab Quarter and toured throughout. This is such a significant location to Judaism, Christianity and Islam. Besides travel, we also have lived and worked outside the US. 2 1/2 years in Brussels Belgium (2019-2021) and 1 year in Daegu Korea (1982-1983). I met and married my wife in Korea. On a personal level, I find Korea to be the most amazing country in the world. In 1983, it was truly just a developing country. Today it is a modern country that is a significant contributer to the world economy, technology, and culture - especially entertainment. It makes you realize that there are countries around the world that have more modern aspects than the US. If you ever go to Korea, be sure to see much more than just Seoul. Go to Busan, Sokcho, Jejudo, Jeonju, Daegu, Ulleungdo, Gyeongju, Suncheon and so many more. See the state of the art modern architecture, but also see the well-preseved historical structures. I would especially recommend seeing the "Three Jewel Buddhist Temples". My wife and I have committed to stay in Korea for at least 3 months each year, in addition to the rest of our world travels. Best wishes on your travels.

Did the PDX-LAX-NRT-SIN flight in the past. Have flown to Narita a number of times, but those extra 6-7 hours to arrive in Singapore at 1 am in January was just so different weather and time wise from the west coast in the winter. 70s and humidity upon arrival at the equator.
