    First time I flew business class… absolute game changer for long haul flights IMO. Working on my credit so I can get one of those cards and use them for lounge access!

    • @AlwaysBeChanging
      @AlwaysBeChanging  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Game changer for sure!! It’s night and day on comfort. I still think flying economy for any amount of long haul flight is always worth it to get where you’re going. But if you can upgrade, do it!

    I absolutely agree with what Phil said regarding traveling with an economy class. Time seems to drag forever when your traveling. Getting a sleep is impossible for me as well since I cannot sleep while sitting. Dubai to Cebu is a 9 hour flight. Quite long to endure. I can only dream flying in a business class.😊

    I love that you did a video of your business class experience, and did a mighty job. You & Erin gave Sam Chui and Jeb Brooks a run for their money! I, too, take advantage of my United Club card benefits when flying long haul on United & its Star Alliance partners. So hard to NOT fly business class once you’ve flown it, but sometimes I gotta bite the bullet and turn right when boarding 😩. Great Video!

    My wife and I have an upcoming 12 hour Polaris flight. We are currently booked where your children sit which is recommended for couples. Where you and your wife are sitting seems to be more spacious though but closer to the aisle. Which do you prefer?

    • @AlwaysBeChanging
      @AlwaysBeChanging  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      We 100% prefer to sit side-by-side in the middle (between the isles) in a row with the entertainment screens side-by-side. With those seats, you can put the huge divider down and speak most easily. You're also facing more forward vs facing slightly to the aisle, and you're farther away from the aisle itself, which feels more private. But, your "tabletop" is then next to the aisle, which makes it easier for crew to access your drinks and such without reaching over you, but also easier for passengers to grab something while you sleep (not that we've ever had this happen, but we like to set up our phones, tablets, AirPods, chargers, etc., so it's a lot of valuables to be sitting there while you're asleep).
      Have a great flight!

  • @roryegger4681
    @roryegger4681 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Thank you for the excellent review!! We are 4 people travelling together. What rows did you chose? I see your dividers can go down, but do the dividers where your children sat behind you go down too? Thank you!

    • @AlwaysBeChanging
      @AlwaysBeChanging  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi. Sorry I’m just getting to your comment now. I can’t remember what row we were in but we like to choose the closest to the front because you get your meal faster and no issues with them running out of certain meals. There are dividers on all middle pods, but every other row has a larger divider space. They are staggered where every other row is at a slight angle and those have smaller divider windows 👍🏻

    How fun and oh so comfortable.
    My family flies OneWorld so have not yet experienced the new Polaris. I hope you can cross over and get to try the QSuites of QR, especially the ones that open into a quad configuration. It was nice to be able to dine with the kids. No issues at all with the rear facing seats.

    • @AlwaysBeChanging
      @AlwaysBeChanging  ปีที่แล้ว

      Those quads sound so nice! I hope we get to fly in those too. There are so many flights and suites on our bucket lists. I (Erin) have always dreamed of sitting at a bar and ordering a drink on a flight. But I don’t think there are many of those in circulation anymore.

      @@AlwaysBeChanging QR has them on their A380’s flying from DOH to LHR plus a couple more select routes. Not sure but I think CDG and SYD. Emirates has them on their A380’s as well but IMHO, QR J class is better than EK’s. You can do the quad and the bar in one flight.

    1st time watching! Nice video! Questions:
    I thought u get pajamas for united Polaris? Did they run out?
    For your elevated United Status: is that due to your united credit card and you fly mostly from United Airlines?

    • @AlwaysBeChanging
      @AlwaysBeChanging  ปีที่แล้ว

      Great questions! We have never gotten pajamas on a United Polaris flight so I don’t think that’s something they offer. Our elevated status has a lot to do with the credit card because it helps us rack up PQP (basic dollars spent on United flights). Our daily spending helps contribute to that so we can obtain higher status faster through the year. We have more info on our website: followabc.com/creditcards but of course don’t hesitate to ask us if you have more questions.

      What if the kids pay extra for business class? Just because there are kids in first or business doesn’t mean people have to “put up with them.” Many kids know how to behave on an airplane. And on the flip side, many adults do not know how to behave on airplanes. It all comes down the the individuals and the tolerance of those around.
