This is really good music. Sometimes I need a break from the barrage of blast beats and tortured screams I normally listen to, and this band definitely delivered the goods.
I feel like I’m the only one who notices that a lot of these comments are kids that expect generic chugging and dismiss anything else immediately. This album has such attention to detail you kids aren’t noticing. Such an epic progressive rock album 👌🏻
I’ve been waiting too long for this, I’ve been so hyped. I adored the singles and my anticipation has been through the roof. Good Tiger never disappoints, I’m sure I’ll love this one as much as the debut. I really appreciate the progression of their sound here and the newer territories they were treading with the songwriting.
Musa Tariq I appreciate that you have a ride the lightning profile pic and still love a band like good tiger. I feel like metal heads like you are hard to come by, hahaha.
An incredible band with a unique sound and sense of honesty and emotion in both the lyrics and the music. I'm really looking forward to seeing them live in April.
I sense/hear more feeling and a bit less "alt-metal" sound than the debut. I love the debut album, but this is more catchy and a bit more challenging for the band I think, based on the background of the members, they really accomplished something that took them further away from what most people might think they sound like.
I haven't stopped jamming or smiling since I've pressed play! and I'm only on Grip Shoes, which I've listened to a bunch of times already. This album is just fantastic. I've dug every non-released song so far, granted I still have 4 to hear hahaha. But I have a feeling they will be great. Thank you Good Tiger for making music I didn't know I would need this much. I'm going to go finish this gem, excuse me.
Spoiler Alert: The rest of the album is wonderful. The bass line in Just Shy is groovy. Nineteen Grams pace is really cool and gives the tail end a nice pick up. Cherry Lemon I really dug, it just had this little flow to it. I'll Finish This Book Later was such a great way to wrap it up. Absolute 10/10. Ok I'm done.
I love anything Elliot sings on. This album is such a good refinement of their sound. First album I've actually purchased a physical copy of in a while. I hope this album really gets their name out there.
This is some good shit, thanks Good Tiger for this amazing album, this is what I need until the new releases from Cynic, Obscura, Augury, Beyond Creation and Anaal Nathrakh.
Tesseract suck? give me one really sick Tesseract song that would even give them a chance at belonging within the names of these great bands and i will apologise.
Dez and Jo, I sincerely wish you were still The Safety Fire, but even though you've shed some of your extremities for Good Tiger, this music is finely trimmed and still distinct and distinguished, your style is a pleasure to listen to.
One of the best music to drum to, Alex is one of the greatest of all time, sad he had to move on, but so do all great things.. *side note* I hope he can still work with them at some point, they had unbreakable chemistry that I think will be very hard to find.
I liked this album a lot when it was released, and the last song was always kind of an oddball to me. Well, something clicked in my brain and I feel like I can understand the full emotional weight of that song now. It's honestly a masterpiece, it feels like everything on the album is leading up to it, it's the aural version of a really bitter goodbye , and the sadness that change brings. Love this album, love the new shit too. Thanks, good tiger.
Way more chord-y and less riff-y than Head Full, but the shaping and structuring is fantastic all around. Only gripe is that the actual lyrical variation (NOT the singing, which is fucking fantastic) feels a little shallow in comparison to Head Full. I guess that's just a side-effect of being more chorus-heavy. Other than that, the whole album is a dream come true. Strings are dope, vocals are beautiful, and drum work is flawless as expected. 10/10 guys, amazing stuff.
His name is Elliot. I thought his name was Dez too. I saw them in concert last Friday, and before they did their set I got to meet Alex, and Elliot. I asked Elliot if his name started with a D, and he was like "you thought my name was Delliot?".
First time I listened to this album it was just alright. Second time I listened to it, it is really great. I love it! Although i feel like I need to hear it again with some better headphones.
After listening to their new album, Raised in Doomsday Cult, I can truly appreciate how cohesive We Will All Be Gone is. Just a fantastic listening experience, front to back. Same with A Head Full of Moonlight. Not a single filler or mediocre track. Just killer songs. Raised in Doomsday Cult has some nice moments, but the last 2 tracks are just not on the same level IMO. Elliot definitely makes this band shine either way. The production is also a lot more clean on this album than their new one.
I thought this was some weak ass soft rock shit but then the rocking started then I thought this is perfect never heard of Good Tigers until I heard this album and now want to buy
*Good Tiger, non-plural, but yeah they're dope. They're a supergroup, Ex-TesseracT vocalist, Ex-The Faceless drummer, and Ex-The Safety Fire members on all other instruments :)
I enjoyed listening to this album, however, it was definitely missing a lot for me . All the up beat, progressive elements from their last album. No screams, no guitar solos, no heavier parts at all really. A Head Full Of Moonlight was perfect, this just falls flat for me for those reasons. I guess it was intended to be a much softer album, and that's fine, it's just definitely not the Good Tiger I fell in love with. 7/10
This is really good music. Sometimes I need a break from the barrage of blast beats and tortured screams I normally listen to, and this band definitely delivered the goods.
THIS! Exactly why I listen to artists like Good Tiger, Tesseract, White Moth Black Butterfly, David Maxim Micic, The Pineapple Thief, etc.
grindcoremaniac If you’re into more melodic metal, you should check out Affiance.
Not so much screaming, but plenty of melodies.
5 goddamn years on and i still love it
I feel like I’m the only one who notices that a lot of these comments are kids that expect generic chugging and dismiss anything else immediately. This album has such attention to detail you kids aren’t noticing.
Such an epic progressive rock album 👌🏻
well I say fuck em. At least YOU can appreciate it, right?
Don't worry about people who are not on this wavelength. Enjoy it brother x
I dont see 1 negative comment...
Not sure why they came here expecting that. If you've heard the first album, you'll know Good Tiger is a little more refined than that
I’m honestly glad they ditched the screaming
I’ve been waiting too long for this, I’ve been so hyped. I adored the singles and my anticipation has been through the roof. Good Tiger never disappoints, I’m sure I’ll love this one as much as the debut. An incredible band with a unique sound and sense of honesty and emotion in both the lyrics and the music. I'm really looking forward to seeing them live in April.
This album is even better than the debut, and that’s big step forward. Catchy and full of emotion.
NO WAY. Debut is an absolute masterpiece. This is just a good album!
I sense/hear more feeling and a bit less "alt-metal" sound than the debut. I love the debut album, but this is more catchy and a bit more challenging for the band I think, based on the background of the members, they really accomplished something that took them further away from what most people might think they sound like.
Yes, you're right. Their singles are amazing but the whole thing is just generic imo. This is not prog and it's less technical challenging.
Alex Dim I like the instrumentals from the first album, but god damn the vocals on this record are too good.
@@alexandrosdimou9498 Lmao bro this is definitely prog. Maybe just not the type you're used to.
You know when you wake up in the morning and you’re instantly hyped to listen to this album again? Well... That.
Alex Riley that's exactly how I've been feeling! Might be my favorite of the year so far.
I've been like that with Akeldamas album Everything Beautiful
I haven't stopped jamming or smiling since I've pressed play! and I'm only on Grip Shoes, which I've listened to a bunch of times already. This album is just fantastic. Preordered. I was listening to the album last night. I loved it. My favorite song has to be Salt of the Earth
one of the nastiest songs I've ever heard. It's like saosin clashed with glassjaw.
Ive been a fan of Elliott Coleman since the Zelliack days. What a monster of a vocalist
I thought this was Ashe O' Hara
I only listened to this because Alex Rudinger is in it, but I'm glad I did it!
Soul and R&B meets metal/ tad bit of post hardcore.
Found this on TH-cam recommendations. I love it when TH-cam recommends me some good stuff like this.
I love anything Elliot sings on. This album is such a good refinement of their sound. First album I've actually purchased a physical copy of in a while. I hope this album really gets their name out there.
That chorus riff in "Float On" though...
This is some good shit, thanks Good Tiger for this amazing album, this is what I need until the new releases from Cynic, Obscura, Augury, Beyond Creation and Anaal Nathrakh.
I knew about new stuff from Obscura and Cynic but beyond creation? fuck yeah that's great news
How would you dare to forget to include TesseracT in that list? :3
I knew about TesseracT xD
Tesseract suck? give me one really sick Tesseract song that would even give them a chance at belonging within the names of these great bands and i will apologise.
ReDDzILLa Nocturnal
This album is like a early Valentines gift
Dez and Jo, I sincerely wish you were still The Safety Fire, but even though you've shed some of your extremities for Good Tiger, this music is finely trimmed and still distinct and distinguished, your style is a pleasure to listen to.
This album is a masterpiece to my ears! Got my preorder several days ago and it's such a melodic beauty!
Amazing sounds, amazing arrangements, incredible composition. Very grateful for you! Thanks for this piece of Good Music!
Purchased. Just wish it was longer!
This is gonna be a good February! Good job Good Tiger!
Wow! Elliot Coleman is paired with a truly incredible and creative team. I hope they do this for years to come. Keep it coming
One of the best music to drum to, Alex is one of the greatest of all time, sad he had to move on, but so do all great things.. *side note* I hope he can still work with them at some point, they had unbreakable chemistry that I think will be very hard to find.
Hell yeah! So glad I got to see these guys in Atlanta a few months back. I've loved the singles, and the rest of the album sounds awesome as well!
Connor Allen I was going to go to that show but had to move to DC. Hoping to catch them here in a month.
Getting some *mad* The Fall of Troy vibes throughout this album, which is one-hundred percent a great thing. Fucking swell job dudes!
Beautiful voice and amazing groove 😍👌
straight killed it my guy
I liked this album a lot when it was released, and the last song was always kind of an oddball to me. Phenomenal! Quite different from TSF but in the best way possible.
Idk, i was so fan of tsf
And i dont like this singer and i miss the crazy riffs :(
Sadly this band is not for me
This randomly came on while I was letting a 'The safety fire' album stream...really liking it. My first listen
This is really really nice.
Dance Tiger Dance
Good Gavin, Goooood.
I know rright lol
Dance like a good Tiger called Gavin....
I absolutely love both bands but I don't get this comparison lol
If anything reminds me of Circa Survive....
Way more chord-y and less riff-y than Head Full, but the shaping and structuring is fantastic all around. Only gripe is that the actual lyrical variation (NOT the singing, which is fucking fantastic) feels a little shallow in comparison to Head Full. This is pretty damn impressive. Brilliant guitar playing. All around talented, the whole band
10/10 nicely bold, glad I clicked
I saw these guys two days in a row at the danforth music hall in Toronto and I think I broke my foot the second show, fucking yeah baby!
Float On is in a crazy turn I didn't expect from listening to the live versions
SAME, I remember hearing it in 2016 and thinking it was AMAZING. It's still great but I liked the live version better.
I like the chords and odd time sigs in that song
This is so refreshing. Great stuff
Damn, dez's voice sounds great on the last track, woah
His name is Elliot. I thought his name was Dez too. I saw them in concert last Friday, and before they did their set I got to meet Alex, and Elliot. I asked Elliot if his name started with a D, and he was like "you thought my name was Delliot?".
Rudel Burman that’s cool! but the other vocalist in the final song is their guitarist, dez.
i seriously cant stop listening to this
It's amazing how so many bands have exactly the same drum sound for every single album
I definitely wouldn't call this similar at all, Nolly's mixing has a very distinct sound from other metal mixers.
First time I listened to this album it was just alright. Second time I listened to it, it is really great. I love it! Although i feel like I need to hear it again with some better headphones.

Amazing album, please keep releasing guys!
This is perfection
Tour God's new record!
This is actually really really good! Taking a break from the metal records is nice sometimes.
WOW!
Such an awesome band.
I thought this was some weak ass soft rock shit but then the rocking started then I thought this is perfect never heard of Good Tigers until I heard this album and now want to buy
*Good Tiger, non-plural, but yeah they're dope. They're a supergroup, Ex-TesseracT vocalist, Ex-The Faceless drummer, and Ex-The Safety Fire members on all other instruments :)
beefcake Yeah that is right
How long for Rudinger to release play throughs? Not long I imagine
Can hear the Circa Survive influence in there. Good album.
Absolutly awesome album! 🔥✌️ „Float On” is my favorite song ❤️
Killer album guys. love it!
You weren't a Good Tiger...
I was told you were the Best Tiger.
Anticipation has paid off.
Sonic masterpiece!
Im here from Fluff's sotw. Im digging it!
WHOOOOOOOOO YEAH
In love with 1 and 3 songs most af all
This is fantastic.
much better than the first one
Wow! I'm only 1 song in but your drummer went to work on that 1st track!
This is absolutely killer
some good boys
the rest of the band always on point
YES! this rules. Awesome stuff
When youve known alex for the faceless in them early days and then you hear him do a completely different style 😮
Eliot Coleman has the voice of a fucking angel
Holy shit, this is an absolute gem.
Just brilliant!
I've been waiting so long for this OMFG
Great vibes from the great bois!
MYFH
this kind of reminds me of sianvar + malina era Leprous and a little bit of Closure in Moscow and a little bit of Hail the Sun
THIS IS AWESOME
Protest to Hero soft version??
DAAAAAAMMMMNNNN, i can feel this!! ♥
they've definitely improved since their debut
Great album!! This band is starting to really like me
This is how I like my tiger.
Reminds me of what dance gavin dance once was. Canr compare it to the old DGD but its something close?
Nineteen Grams is a fucking national treasure. Goddamn.
And yet, so international.
Great album
the beginning of "such a kind stranger" reminds me of At the Drive-In a bit actually
actually the whole song kind of reminds me of them in an odd way
Yeah I definitely see the similarities to At the Drive-In love those guys too.
Honestly fucking amazing. Love this shit guys
this is tp for my bunghole
Love it ❤❤
Reminds me of Finchs "Say hello to the sunshine"
It´s so damn awesome guys
God-tier
Is there another singer on I'll Finish This Book Later? It almost sounds like it could be Dez!
Elliot Coleman is my favorite vocalist.
This fucking shreds I love it.
inform me, I know Elliot Coleman sings, Alex Rudinger on drums, who plays bass and guitar?
7:15 SO COOL!!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

You will be missed Alex
