Quite complex and unintuitive tool for what it does. It needs to be redesigned in my opinion. Having to stop and watch a tutorial to do that is overkill.
i agree i fully understand the grid warp process in multiple programs but can never get this spline warp to work correctly. i always end up defaulting back to the grid warp. it use to be more intuitive
Never understood why you can’t ease-in and out between keyframes of a warp. It’s always lineair with abrubt stops. Any solutions to this? You need this so often and in Digtal Fusion it was possible since the beginning. What you can do is selecting all your warp points and with left-mousebutton open them in curve editor. But than you need to select every point and smooth the curve manually.., so not the way to do it.
Hi, going into the curve editor is probably the best option, but I don’t think you have to smooth the curve manually, you can use hotkeys to select all points in the curve editor (cmd+A or Ctrl+A) and then right-click on the curve editor window, and you can choose interpolation options, which will affect your curves differently, depending on which option you choose - for smoothness, Smooth is a good one. Hope this helps!
@@FoundryTeam tried that but only works for the keyframes between first and last keyframe. But find a workaround by creating an extra keyframe after last keyframe. From the moment you create that, the last keyframes jump also to smoothed.

Thanks never understood spline warp much before but I think I'll use it more now
Great info that's much helpful over spline wrap node in nuke that's much nice understanding mam! Hi myself Rony I'm an VFX student from India
Pretty fun tool
Be sure to copy the roto layer with the shapes so you have the tracking data.
