It is really nice of you putting this video out. Years ago I bought an auction box lot. Some garland was in a big box and it had other green garland twisted in it. Not knowing any better I took it apart and used it separately. Now thanks to your video I understand my mistake and know why it never did look to good.

Kitty Hallaway , Your comment struck a nerve with me... in a good way. Over the years, I have come to realize, what comes naturally to me, does not come naturally to others. I give my mother (and God) credit for everything I know how to do. I now see her as extrordinary and have devoted 50% of my time and 50% of my income to making these videos as a way to give back to the world and as a tribute to my wonderful mother. I used to decorate homes for Christmas now I do just one for a client. But I love the idea to do the garland decorations first instead of doing it after I hang it on staircase and mantle. Thanks 😊

Very, very beautiful. Unfortunately, we don't have too many stores that sell an array of different garlands. Most of the garlands I've seen here in Hawaii are already made. I love how you made a skimpy garland look so full.

Great video. You mentioned your mother and I am just as lucky! Everything I know and love about decorating for the holidays is from my mother! Now we are decorating my dream home for the first time at Christmas and she is learning a little something from me. My mother and I have different styles but your videos ROCK! And have given my Christmas decorating extra sparkle and elegance! I soooo love traditional holiday reds, gold and greens. But my favourite tree this year is multi coloured youthful tones of pink, blue, purple, red and light green. Perfect for our family room. Thanks Luv you!

"It's what you do with what you've got not what you've got" now THAt I think should be applied everywhere in design. You may hv the prettiest ornaments or decorative items be it Christmas deco or home deco, if you do not know how to use them in the right way in the right places, it's totally gone! I get you Rebecca! Yr mum has taught u well! A huge Thumbs up for her! Infact I think that principle applies to all areas in life! Be it academic, business, work, family etc etc.. And what you get at the end is a worthy result! At least the best out of your efforts like this beautiful garland!
