In 4th use of sheet sorting.. you can enable bar chart and all options in custom value..
And drag all the sheets into vertical containers..
So user can see single sheet or all the sheets in same view..
Pls do Use Cases on Groups, Sets and Bins.
Thankyou so much for amazing video... please clarify this query....I have text data in sheet A and added sheet A in dashboard with multiple sheets if I have to download that sheet data in excel/csv.. how we can do that ?
this 4th scenario will work when we create 3 separate calculated fields....
When importing the list of values from a selected field, does it automatically refresh with new data if the values included in the field change?
we have to select field from 'when workbook opens'. If new values comes, it will automatically refresh.
The dashboard thing is not working .. if I drag sheets into the dashboard it comes with the whole work instead of just the heading/title .. what can do, as you said if I hide title , later different graphs will be left...
Which scenario you r talking? If sheet swapping need to check the version you are using. In latest version sweet swapping is not working the way it used to earlier.

Try to add custom value list for sheet swap thing....in latest version it's not working as expected

In 3 Use case Top 10 customer, We didn’t establish the connection with the data base.
If we are using Parameter in Filter shelf, no need to establish the connection?
It is establishing connection when you are using parameter instead of value in filter

I tried use case 4 in my tableau desktop ,filter is not getting applied. Can you help me what could be the issue, I tried the same steps.

Steps followed:
1. Created 3 sheets :
Sheet1: Category sales bar chart
Sheet2 : Category sales line chart
Sheet3 : category sales pie chart
2. Created parameter(chartSelection)- string and taken barchart, line chart, pie chart as values in list.
3. created calculated filed(sheetFilter)- used above param.
4. In sheet1 dragged sheetFilter calc field in filter selection and set barchart as true.
When i selected piechart in parameter , sheet1 still shows barchart ,instead it should show empty right.?
the same is happening with other charts.
Hi, I think this is happening in new versions of Tableau. Trying creating custom value one by one and see if that works.
