This new design is faster, cheaper and easier to build than my old design!

You can! And it will give you much more drops

This farm does work 100%but do i have to constantly swing the sword for it to work?or can i just stand on the AFK spot to work as well
Not at all, the trident killer kills them automatically, you can just afk at that one block
Can I use more than 9 layers?

I'm wondering if I have to give my iron farm and this slime farm some distance or is it possible just to build it nearby. Because, I'm worried if the iron golems won't spawn in my iron farm anymore.
You can build them nearby it won't affect the iron farm

Unfortunately there isn't really anything that can replace the scaffolding

Yes you can! Just make sure that you cover the mob farm with leaves so no iron golems spawn on it.

Well it's cheaper and easier to build since it's just a tower, and it is more efficient, gives you more loot per layer.

9 layers and 10 minutes 3 Zombies spawned what can i do i build in the right biom
Make sure it's not in a river, also make sure the scaffolding are placed correctly and that there are no torches in the layers

When I built it the mobs just get tossed around and don’t get killed by the trident how do I fix it?
dont make the killer with all water, just put a water source in one pison, and if that doesen't work, replace three of the hoppers with haybales
It doesn't work for me. I builded it in an deep ocean at Y 193 and builded everything exacly as in the video and switched to hard and nothing is spawning.
Make sure the platforms are dark enough for mobs to spawn

No it would not
I did it above an ocean biome, but nothing is spawning. I'm on bedrock and mobs are spawning everywhere but the farm.
I think you have to be a certain distance away for stuff to spawn I also had the same problem on a separate mob farm

Well it solely depends on your simulation distance, but I'd say between 20 to 25

@@duckny8316 the simulation distance is basically which chunks mobs can spawn in. the minimum is 4 chunks, so every efficient mob farm will be built in a big ocean.

You could but instead of the buttons you place trapdoors on the roof, you get more creeper drops but a few spider spawns too

I built it with 10 floors and it isn't as much as he got but I will say, pocket edition is like bedrock edition. Meaning that the mob spawn rate is less frequent than Java. My rating of this farm on pocket edition is a solid 4.5/5. I love the simplicity and the in-game mechanic implemented in this tutorial. Thank you for the tutorial. I might use this instead of making the mushroom one with SOOOO many trapdoors haha over and out...
