@@swirlingfudge 1000% true, most artists just stand there and sing, not prince and not back then. most artists rehearsals are also like 30 mins long prince's went for hours at a time so everything was perfect, im sure others did it but not as well as he did, all rehearsals of his are top tier
Prince really studied exhaustively the classics and after one listen he can play it again without missing a note. Sonny T had that talent too. They can absorb and comprehend all the concepts in the fastest manner. Obviously They practised long enough to master their instruments too.

@Tony True but Prince dug all kind of Music and he was influenced by the Greats and the Obscure. I get it, while everyone else was listening to NWA and rap. I was Jamming Al Green, Marvin Gaye and Stevie Wonder. But mostly Al Green above all.. Later on I got into White Rock Groups of the 70's and later still the Black Crows, AudioSlave, . All that good music takes me on trips. I feel it. That's why understand and dig Prince. Good music is good music you do more that feel it, you visualize it and go on a journey withit. More than just an appreciation of it. It takes me to another spiritual world. Peace Probably the reason I have 3 hammond organs, a drum set like 8 keyboards etc... You get to the point to where it consumes you in a good way

This is a great BB King song, but the echo ruins it. Disappointing, IMO. Not one of Prince's best. Listen to BB's version if you want to really hear the song.
