What I remember is that on the train to the stadium the Castleford supporters were very confident and it was simply a matter of turning up. Then I saw Yvette Cooper ( labour MP for Castleford , Normanton andPontefract ) with a brand new scarf and I smiled to myself. The smart money in the press was for Castleford and then all hell let loose. C’mon Leeds what a performance .

As a Leeds fan, I wasn’t very confident going into this game but Cas definitely got the big game jitters at OT. To be fair they almost blew it in the semi final against Saints so the warning signs were there
