Genya is a rock pioneer - put together the first all female rock band (Goldie and the Gingerbreads and had hits in Europe even though they were a NY band), great singer in her own right, was part of the early CBGBs crowd and produced the Dead Boys. She has a radio show on Steve Van Zandt's Underground Garage channel on SiriusXM. Also wrote a great book called "Lollipop Lounge".
