The longer I find myself wanting to remain in a fictitious world that is full of comfort and love, the drearier reality becomes. Fiction does not and should not be in place of reality. Sure, there is hurt and pain that can be found, but the love in reality is so much deeper than can be imagined. Commitment and responsibilities are things you'll find yourself WANTING when you are in a loving relationship. Those are the actual beauties of having another person. Fiction is beautiful, but you can make reality beautiful as well.

Good luck! I felt the same way about a boy I liked and I confessed to him on Dec 19 of 2019! I never confessed to anyone I liked before so it was pretty nerve racking. He ended up liking me back yet he had a bad relationship so we didn't get together and just stayed as friends. Over the years, we gotten more closer and he's more open about the idea of dating! I moved to a new country recently and because of the language barrier my social skills have plummeted. I hadn't had a crush in forever but I'm slowly becoming obsessed with this one boy. i like this boy, for the entire school year. he's popular, but most importantly he's funny, sweet, friendly, and just an overall fun person to be around. i found out earlier in the school year that he liked me, but i didn't catch feelings until it was too late. once i began liking him back, he moved on.
