there's this boy in my life, let's call him Bass. I knew Bass from choir (from the name lmfao) and I met him properly through my brother. He was tall, with messy blond hair and these gorgeous brown eyes that when just right, the sunshine would make it look like a gem freshly unearthed from the ground below. The kindness in his eyes was reflected in his personality. Bass was funny, witty, caring, and always caring for those close with him. I remember sneaking out of class during his lunchtime (hes a year younger and had diff lunch times) just to see him. He always greeted people with a hug, especially me. His embrace always felt like resting by the fireplace after a harsh cold day. Soon it came the end of middle school, and it was our last choir concert. That was my chance, but I choked up and never said a thing. A few months pass and now I'm a freshman with my own stuff going on, and I haven't heard from Bass in so long. But I always kept a picture of him, my brother, and I on my lockscreen. It was the only piece of him I had at the time. One day for my HS's choir, we had a showcase at the middle school to fundraise for money. And when I went into the old choir classroom to grab my water, there he was. My heart pounded and my stomach felt hot and my body felt so heavy for some reason. I ran over to hug him after not seeing him for so long. He squeezed me back a bit to show he missed me too. We almost cried in eachother's arms then and there. After that we started talking more and my feelings came back for him. Something I lost long ago hit me like a ocean's wave. He made me the happiest person ever. And that day came. February 15, I was sitting on my bed and did the most scariest thing of my life: confessing. After pacing back and forth my computer went off and I crashed onto my bed. "To be honest, I've been feeling the same way ever since I first met you." I just started crying, this felt so damn surreal. For someone to go to "a friend of my brother" to "boyfriend" just like that was so scary. Yesterday was our 4 month anniversary. I've never felt happier in my life until now. This man is the setting sun on a perfect morning. He's the man I've seen in my dreams, the man I've fantasized of being with before I go to bed. He's absolutely everything to me. He's coming over later today just to hang out, and listening to this makes me excited. I feel so happy being this loved by someone. I know that the feeling of being "alone" and "unloveable" is suffocating, but you WILL find it. When they come into your life you'll be reader than you'll ever be. You'll always be loved by someone. After having written that I realize that I am very fascinated with it. I love the way she talks, her slanted honey-colored eyes, her brown hair, her soft hands. I love his personality, he is shy but when he gains confidence he is very funny, he always tells stories or anecdotes, he always invites me to go somewhere with him. He enjoys the same books as me, the same series, games, he is detail-oriented, I have absolute confidence in him and I think he is the same as me, I love everything about him. When I am with him I feel that everything bad is no longer there, and I feel that everything stops, time goes by quickly, and I enjoy being with him more, it makes me feel in a strange way. When I feel alone, he is not always with me but when he is he totally comforts me, being with him is being in the same heaven for me. But I have the fear of not being reciprocated, apart from the fact that I don't understand anything about romantic things (since I am aromantic) and it is the first time I feel something like that for someone, I think it is a normal fear.

I feel so happy we ended up together... I was starting to lose hope, 16 going on 17 and have never dated, kissed, or anything like that. I had confessed to 2 guys already (ive had crushes on way more people through my life, but I only decided to confess to people ive had long term crushes on.) 8th grade, I knew this boy for 5 years by this time and had on and off crushes. I ended up slipping a note in his locker and getting rejected. He never gave an answer and after that I immediately realized he was not the one. 2 years later, sophomore year i had feelings for an upperclassmen, a junior, but i didn't really like him, just the idea of him. I feel discust whenever i think about how i thought of him, not because hes a bad person, but because I twisted how he actually acted in my brain. We spent a bunch of time together because of marchnng band. I confessed in the morning beginning of February, I made a "lyric book" (its better to look it up) of a love song from one of his favorite bands, took me a week. He awkwardly rejected me, and I didnt actually feel sad, I was upset at myself. Legend says he still has the book. Finally, summer before junior year. I was still in marching band, but got recruited to march a contrabass tuba because I also do wrestling (to them wrestling=strong). I was pretty muscular. We were a section of 3, and an old member was on the fence about joining, but when he did join, we spent time together and I started to develop feelings. A couple months go by and im starting to fall HARD. Im asking his friends questions about him, trying to get to know him. Finally, October, we have a competition. I get one of his friends to ask if he's interested in anyone. About an hour later i get what he said off of his friend, which was a no. "No? Why did you keep running away and avoiding me if he just said no?" I ask. "Because he kinda knew that you asked" So my crush knew that I got his friend to ask if he had a crush on anyone. I repeatedly hit the friend (we are mutual friends but he knew my crush for longer if that makes sense) with a half empty Gatorade bottle and sulked before heading back on the bus. I get in my seat (i was sitting behind him with my friend, and my friend's boyfriend was next to my crush). I whispered to my friend what happened and they yelled "EHAT??" then their boyfriend turned around and started gossiping loudly. For context we were mostly the only ones on the bus, we were chilling waiting for awards. My crush turns around and says "i know youre talking about me". I feel embarrassed, my friend feels bad, i dont know what to do, I feel sad. But my crush kept looking over the seat at me, trying to make me feel better "If you win this game of rock paper scissors, I'll consider dating you" It was rigged from the start He told the friend no because he knew the information was going to get back to me and we started dating that night. October 19th Im posting this because I was starting to lose hope before that night, thinking I was gonna get rejected a third time. I didn't want that information to be told that night but it ended up being okay. Really okay. The friend takes all the credit for bringing us together btw. What im saying is that I was starting to lose hope, and I wasnt sure if i shouldve even tried to confess. But I believe that everything has a time, and adventually yours will come. there's this boy in my life, let's call him Bass. I knew Bass from choir (from the name lmfao) and I met him properly through my brother. He was tall, with messy blond hair and these gorgeous brown eyes that when just right, the sunshine would make it look like a gem freshly unearthed from the ground below. The kindness in his eyes was reflected in his personality. Bass was funny, witty, caring, and always caring for those close with him. I remember sneaking out of class during his lunchtime (hes a year younger and had diff lunch times) just to see him. He always greeted people with a hug, especially me. His embrace always felt like resting by the fireplace after a harsh cold day. Soon it came the end of middle school, and it was our last choir concert. That was my chance, but I choked up and never said a thing. A few months pass and now I'm a freshman with my own stuff going on, and I haven't heard from Bass in so long. But I always kept a picture of him, my brother, and I on my lockscreen. It was the only piece of him I had at the time. One day for my HS's choir, we had a showcase at the middle school to fundraise for money. And when I went into the old choir classroom to grab my water, there he was. My heart pounded and my stomach felt hot and my body felt so heavy for some reason. I ran over to hug him after not seeing him for so long. He squeezed me back a bit to show he missed me too. We almost cried in eachother's arms then and there. After that we started talking more and my feelings came back for him. Something I lost long ago hit me like a ocean's wave. He made me the happiest person ever. And that day came. February 15, I was sitting on my bed and did the most scariest thing of my life: confessing. After pacing back and forth my computer went off and I crashed onto my bed. "To be honest, I've been feeling the same way ever since I first met you."
I just started crying, this felt so damn surreal. For someone to go to "a friend of my brother" to "boyfriend" just like that was so scary. Yesterday was our 4 month anniversary. I've never felt happier in my life until now. This man is the setting sun on a perfect morning. He's the man I've seen in my dreams, the man I've fantasized of being with before I go to bed. He's absolutely everything to me. He's coming over later today just to hang out, and listening to this makes me excited. I feel so happy being this loved by someone.

After having written that I realize that I am very fascinated with it.
I love the way she talks, her slanted honey-colored eyes, her brown hair, her soft hands.
I love his personality, he is shy but when he gains confidence he is very funny, he always tells stories or anecdotes, he always invites me to go somewhere with him.

I tried to ignore the fluttery feeling in my stomach and bit on my tounge in hopes it would prevent me from blushing.

got my heart broken 6 times in 2022, and coming into the summer of 2023 i worked onmyself and i became a better and more healthy person, i went to therapy, did self help, started working out and eating better. she came into my life when i was at camp during august, i didnt really know how to tell her how i felt but on the last day as i was shaking i did tell her and she felt the same. we have been doing great and its now december, i got her a perfect matching necklace gift for her birthday in november and im exited to see what time has for us. we fallen asleep together and just understood eachother and loved eachother through and through. i think she might be my first kiss soon. wish me luck, and i hope that you all can find your someone, and remember even if you dont think you have anyone who cares, i do. i care and you take care

I feel so happy we ended up together...
I was starting to lose hope, 16 going on 17 and have never dated, kissed, or anything like that. I had confessed to 2 guys already (ive had crushes on way more people through my life, but I only decided to confess to people ive had long term crushes on.)
8th grade, I knew this boy for 5 years by this time and had on and off crushes. I ended up slipping a note in his locker and getting rejected. He never gave an answer and after that I immediately realized he was not the one.
2 years later, sophomore year i had feelings for an upperclassmen, a junior, but i didn't really like him, just the idea of him. I feel discust whenever i think about how i thought of him, not because hes a bad person, but because I twisted how he actually acted in my brain. We spent a bunch of time together because of marchnng band. I confessed in the morning beginning of February, I made a "lyric book" (its better to look it up) of a love song from one of his favorite bands, took me a week. He awkwardly rejected me, and I didnt actually feel sad, I was upset at myself. Legend says he still has the book.
Finally, summer before junior year. I was still in marching band, but got recruited to march a contrabass tuba because I also do wrestling (to them wrestling=strong). I was pretty muscular. We were a section of 3, and an old member was on the fence about joining, but when he did join, we spent time together and I started to develop feelings. A couple months go by and im starting to fall HARD. Im asking his friends questions about him, trying to get to know him. Finally, October, we have a competition. I get one of his friends to ask if he's interested in anyone. About an hour later i get what he said off of his friend, which was a no.
"No? Why did you keep running away and avoiding me if he just said no?" I ask.
"Because he kinda knew that you asked"
So my crush knew that I got his friend to ask if he had a crush on anyone. I repeatedly hit the friend (we are mutual friends but he knew my crush for longer if that makes sense) with a half empty Gatorade bottle and sulked before heading back on the bus.
I get in my seat (i was sitting behind him with my friend, and my friend's boyfriend was next to my crush). I whispered to my friend what happened and they yelled "EHAT??" then their boyfriend turned around and started gossiping loudly.
For context we were mostly the only ones on the bus, we were chilling waiting for awards.
My crush turns around and says "i know youre talking about me".
I feel embarrassed, my friend feels bad, i dont know what to do, I feel sad.
But my crush kept looking over the seat at me, trying to make me feel better
"If you win this game of rock paper scissors, I'll consider dating you"
It was rigged from the start
He told the friend no because he knew the information was going to get back to me and we started dating that night.
