I'm taking a College Algebra course on Saylor and let's just say I'm not naturally good at maths. Just finished Unit 1 after studying for about 16 hours total while it should have supposedly taken me only 4 hours. So maybe that's just me being super slow but keep in mind that you might wanna plan ahead and expect to study more hours than advertised.

You aren't slow. Saylor Academy seems to underestimate how much time someone would realistically need to finish a course.

Do you do condensed consultations? Iv watched all of your awesome videos and followed all your steps to get myself in a good starting position. I want a degree to get a better position with my company. So i know what school, I want, with a "Chipotle" major. I need a consultation to tell me whether or not I can get it done in a year at that school?

I actually just scripted two videos where I'll discuss them. Honestly, they are good for some people and not others. The lack of a GPA is pretty lame, and they have some weird transfer policies. Watch for my UMPI vs. WGU video!

TAMUC is at least somewhat hackable. If you haven’t already though, make sure to do some solid research about what is needed in your industry. Often times you can complete a less specific, complicated degree and have it move you forward just the same. :)
