Thanks for your honest review. I was also aimed to buy this for metal oriented playing but pickups are also a bottleneck for me so I will not buy them probably, after what you say..
Tim Palmieri plays the same guitar with a band called Lotus as well as with Blue Star Radiation. I have the 24 fret walnut one from 2019 with 85/15s pickups. i really like mine but I am not all that experienced. cheers.
I just got a PRS S2 and I don't care for the pickups at low volume. They have kind of a flat tone. Plus the neck is way too thin. It should 1 11/16" at the nut and mine is barely 1 5/8".
Tried a satin one of these and it felt like raw wood with the sunk in finish. So nice.
I freakin love those S2’s…everything you need and nothing you don’t…great job bro!!!!
It really is that! Thanks, I have more videos coming this week. I am trying to be a bit more regular around the inter webs.

also, i paid $850 brand new on a sale for mine. since then they have raised prices a lot
Defenitely, I returned this one to the previous owner as I didn’t love the pickups and tuning stability (we had an agreement)
@@MrRafaztar thats odd about tuning stability. mine stays in tune for days
@@1997Ghost is your trem floating or to the body?
@@MrRafaztar it is a prs floating trem. set pretty low though.
