Now I have bought special adapter ( head for this plastic string ) - 3 USD. I will do similar. (but 2 wheels) Problem - went holes !!! ( specially for brushless motor ) - good only for small grass to keep small power - close holes ( maybe decrease speed or voltage to lower the power (temperature). Similar grinder I have bought for 15 USD - brushless with big battery - I need it for agriculture robot :) - new toy :)

Yes. Also there is shortage of money sadly. Eating bare potatoes right now, but grass is growing and trimmer aint good for a big lawn and gasoline mower just would not start after long winter. Plus I dont like it and it is not mine to start repairing it. So you see... there are situations where you need stuff like this...

The problem with it is that the grass is flying everywhere. It would need some sort of body still to keep flying grass in control. Plus it will end inside the grinder tue to vent holes.

Honestly enlighten me on the blade how does the plastic blade work
well, basically it works the same as a metal blade. as the head rotates, the tips of the plastic cord are spinning really fast. When the plastic cord at high rotational speed impacts grass blades, the blades are cut in two, shortening them to a uniform height.

For grasscutter one set of cutting string for 3000-5000 m2 (small/standard grass) - can charge from solar panels - also good for hedge :)
What if you can not afford the new mower at this period of life, but grass keeps growing and gasoline mower just died on you?
