I'd like to see a Yugo turned into a lawn tractor. I can't be the only one thinking that.
Is the motor shaft hardened steel, my taps wouldn't cut into hardened steel.
… Using the little green plastic stool shown at 10:55 as a bending jig, you could make a little frame out of heavy wire and then cover it with some salvaged window screen as a shield/filter to keep stuff out of that motor, and keep it cool.
I thought that too, but when you're making a video on a hurry, it's just not gonna happen.

Imam jedno ludo pitanje vidio sam da su spajali motor od ves masine na 12 volti imam jedan i volio bih ga ugraditi u kosilicu ako ga napojim sa 12 v moze se okretati oko 2500rpm da li je to dovoljno

To check balance on the blade when sharpening that way you can put a nail in wall and see if the blade is balanced, not perfectly precise but pretty good.

This el.motor has 2 speeds. 3 wires slow speed and 3 wires fast speed. I connected to fast :)

i did this but i did not work well. firstly motor is not powerful enough to run smoothly. it halts over dense grass area which not only effects cutting but also risks motor health. And secondly you can only use blades up to 8 inches wide even eight inches are bit heavy. so it means even a small lawn takes exorbitant time. so, use a motor of high power and pull the mover cart by yourself, doing this will increase blade length and motor life span. minimum a mover should cover up to 18 inches area.

Mislim da je hteo reci da je motor napravjen u jugoslaviji.
Думал об этой конструкции. Плюс её в том, что двигатель асинхронник, а минус в том чт эти двигатели слабые, максимум что мне встречались 400 ватт. Ещёминус в том, что корпус его открытого типа(быстро забъётся травой), и не имеет принудительного охлаждения.

I don't think It's a good idea to hammer that little pin holding the pulley without any external support cuz just hammering directly to the bearing can really damage it, or actually just trash it out, soooo DON'T.
