Plot/ Synopsis:
When Kovu and Rani are taken from their home after Zira, a vengeful lioness bent on revenge kills both of their parents she raises the two as her own and trains them to kill. Both now destroyed and emotionless Rani struggles to follow along on her new path whilst her brother Kovu has just accepted his fate and new destiny, As Zira raises them she focuses on her target, a king named Simba of who she believed to have killed her mate all those years ago and therefore now wants revenge on him. Tasked with getting closer to him Kovu and Rani are ordered by Zira to make sure that they are accepted into Simba’s Pride. Once accepted it is there that they both meet Kiara and Kion, Simba’s two cubs who are the heirs to the throne. As they get to know them Rani becomes close with Kion and Kovu also with Kiara, but Rani’s deep insecurities and emotionless nature holds her back from her feelings, Kovu also feels guilty but still focusses on his mission. These feelings of guilt and anger from both lions tests not only Kovu and Kiara’s relationship but also Rani and Kions too as Rani and Kovu continue with their mission and Zira’s plan.
