They've always had good blasters, but over the years something has almost always held them back (odd dart size at first, then odd mag size, then limited lineup) but they've seemingly fixed most all of their issues and got going this year.
@@MongooseJakeNerf it is especially horrible on the Berserko. Either tolerances were terrible or it was an afterthought. I'm sure the 3D print community will be quick behind, but it is a shame that these aren't just one-off problems
Absolutely a gimmick in my opinion, but I'm sure someone will like them... Particularly people who like to make overly dramatic thumbnails for TH-cam videos, which certainly isn't me, lol.
Bruh I want this soooo bad. 50 dollars though? Also when will you make a new buzz bee classics video? the series where you take a look at old buzz bee blasters.
these went on sale at toys r us in 🇨🇦 (yes we still have toys r us here) for 55 canadian and I had my friend in another city pick one up for me today cause they were out of stock everywhere.
My crusher currently reigns supreme in stock wars, my ragefire is chomping at the bit to take that throne, just needs a couple hundred rounds of extra belt :D
This one has had at least 1,000 shots through it without a single issue, so no problems here. I will say though, that with any of the belt fed dart blasters, you have to make sure the darts are fully pushed back into the belt, and that you don't tip the blaster forward too much while moving around or firing, or the darts can slide forward and cause a jam. That's happened to me in the past with others so I've learned to avoid it.
I've got the V-Twin as well, along with the Scorpion and the Enforcer and they're all pretty good in their own right. I want all of the companies to make belt fed machine gun styled blasters! The more the merrier!
Bullets piling up in chamber after using a few times instead of coming out. Put all nerf bullets in all the way - didn’t tilt gun much and still the same problem. Tripod already has a small crack. For $50 this seems to be junky.
Buzzbee and Adventure Force are the same company! Different marketed blasters, but overall the same company. Also hey man, you said, 4-5 darts per minute...I think you might have meant per second. Though it felt more like 3-4 shots per second.
Actually Buzz Bee and Adventure Force aren't the same company... Adventure Force isn't even a company at all! It's a branding for Walmart, with at least 3 different companies making blasters for Walmart under the Adventure Force labeling. I've done a couple of videos on it in the past, but as of right now, Adventure Force blasters are primarily either made by Dart Zone or Buzz Bee, and X Shot used to make a few but has since stopped. And yes, meant to say per second not minute.
this is 1000% an HvZ staple for holding positions. once they sell the belts separately, a 1k or 2k belt and that thing mounted with a couple defenders with tomahawk 60s and you can hold the entire horde almost indefinitely.
Even a stock one could do it, but with just minor upgraded motors and a rewire this thing would rock for HvZ. I'd have the Alpha Auto 72 for mobility, but then swap to this for specific situations when permitted.
@@MongooseJakeNerf the extra belts would still keep it stock, just a much much larger onboard capacity meant to be entrenched. i personally wouldn't use a 72 until the drum movement issue was fixed but the ragefire absolutely is a staple of entrenched positions. hell honestly, a couple tri strike stocks with the launcher mounted and people off to the side with the hamp could protect against supers
Hi, have you checked the safety switch under the blaster? It has a switch below that stops the blaster from firing but still lets you spin the barrel for intimidation. Hope this helps
Great review Jake! X-Shot has EXPLODED this year! They're seriously making extremely compelling blasters!
They've always had good blasters, but over the years something has almost always held them back (odd dart size at first, then odd mag size, then limited lineup) but they've seemingly fixed most all of their issues and got going this year.
@@MongooseJakeNerf Exactly! I'm so glad to see them expand and move forward in this new direction!
it is like the motorized version of the x-shot crusher and omega
Pretty much, X Shot's liking the belt fed blasters lately, and that's awesome!
I am not a enthusiasm on these things and I will die for one of those
We need more belts! Come on X-Shot! A few years back you had a Crusher Belt Blaster Challenge! You can do it! :D
I need at least 10 for this alone...
they sell extra belts...amazon, 40 rd belt with 50 extra darts, 12.99. You're welcome.
My experience with the ammo rail attachments have been that they're VERY impractical and slide way too easily.
Exactly my thoughts with the couple of blasters I've tried them with so far.
@@MongooseJakeNerf it is especially horrible on the Berserko. Either tolerances were terrible or it was an afterthought. I'm sure the 3D print community will be quick behind, but it is a shame that these aren't just one-off problems
I want to see somebody try and reload the belt from those dart holders in real time. I don't see them as very practical either.

$45 on Amazon at the time of uploading it, I just dropped a link for it in the description.
I'll have another Classics episode coming soon!
@@MongooseJakeNerf alright, nice 👍
Looks like so much fun! You may have convinced me to get one 😄
It's honestly great, this thing is too much fun.
Honestly, the only real practical use for the picatinny to picatinny rail adaptor is to attach the Manic to this.

Sure hope X-Shot continues making flywheel blasters in the future...cool review thanks Jake ! 😎👍🔫
If this is anything to go on, I hope they take the momentum they've started and run with it!
@@MongooseJakeNerf I agree...a full-auto X-Shot version of the Rebel mech would be AWESOME. 👍
Just bought my son one for his 5th birthday. We'll see how he likes it soon.
Hope he enjoys it!
@@MongooseJakeNerf thanks. He should enjoy it. If not I know I will
Time for husband and wife battle , she can have this and you get and overlord
Good idea, and you even sent one!
@@MongooseJakeNerf o yeah!!
Bigger belt? you can always buy additional belts and just attach them
It takes 40 bullets to fire this thing. For 8 seconds.
The mg42 fires 20 rounds a second
@@Elnot7724 the difference is you gotta pick all 40 of the bullets up after firing them for 8 seconds 😅
Is this a tf2 reference
@@toxitron9089 yes. Yes it is.

The price went up to $77 without tax on Amazon
Seems like a better, less expensive Titan CS-50!
Pretty much, although the belt's not as hot swappable as a drum mag.
Great review! How do you think the Rage Fire compares to the V-Twin in performance?
How hard is it to fire, I.e. push the trigger in and down? My son struggles with other x shots loading trigger mechanisms he's not yet strong enough.
Sorry for the late reply, but not hard at all really. Everyone here of all ages used it easily.
These things are flying off the shelves. I plan on taking one off myself.
Have you had any issues with it? My sons jams constantly and will not fire one single dart since brand new.
This one has had at least 1,000 shots through it without a single issue, so no problems here.

I have 2 V-Twin blasters and they both get 90 to 100 fps...I dont know it's like Xshot stole the idea from dart zone.

Do you have your have the belt connect or can you fire it MG 42 style?
You could do either, keep it connected as a loop, or do it as a single feed.

X shot is pretty junky plastic. When they are too “cool” looking for the price, its usually because theyre junk.

Yep, the tripod is in the package.
