Just subscribed. Your videos are a great source of info on the Trent etc. Thanks for taking the time to do them. I have recently acquired a 1967 wooden 31-foot Pacemaker that (of course) needs some refurbishment. It has been very well maintained and spent most of its time on the Trent. My intentions are to sail her from Wiarton to Port Severn, then down the Trent and back upon my retirement...or sooner.
Dan Ryan Hi Dan. Thanks for your 'thumbs up'! Glad you are enjoying my videos and hopefully will learn of more beautiful boating areas. Your tip sounds like a lot of fun & the TSW has a lot to offer. If you have a chance, please take a boo at my main site at BoatsBeachesAndBars.com to see an intro/teaser clip from my recently released feature length video 'Cruising The Trent Severn Waterway'. It is currently available for purchase on my site both in a DVD/Blu-ray combo pack, as well as a digital download. The video takes one from 'Mile Zero' of at Trenton on Lake Ontario, thorough the entire 240 miles of the waterway, right up to Port Severn at Georgian Bay. Shot in full HD, there is lots of beautiful scenery and locations featured, as well as some neat insights on the waterway. Have a look at that intro video and let me know what you think! I also publish a web site exclusively dedicated to all things Trent Severn Waterway. Please visit it here at TheWaterway.ca. Gotta go now, as I see you have posted a number of other comments and I want to see them all ;-) Cheers, Paul.
You are so lucky to live where you do and are able to do what you do, I am glad for both of you and I shall enjoy all your videos. To me, an impossible dream, but that is life. Your years of work paid off, mine ended up with the only lady I fell for and married just for a year, taking everything and disability now leaves me with just a $200 (equivalent) per week state handout. NO WAY am I moaning/complaining, that's life, but I DO honestly enjoy to see people who have found happiness and a good life. No regrets, no self pity, I am good. Keep making these great vid's. Mike
***** Keep the faith, Mike! And I'll keep making more fun videos for you :-) Hope you like #Florida , #beaches & #PalmTrees , because you'll be seeing lots of all :-)
Right around the corner! They are both on Frying Pan Island. If you aren't adverse to mosquitoes, there is a walking path through the island to connect each place. The easier route is to dingy over - about a 5 - 10 minute jaunt. Have a look at my 'Georgian Bay Float Plane Ride ' video to see the island and both places from the air.
No, just tired of me scaring her! As I mention in the clip, we had passed by a big water snake swimming close to us and when she didn't notice, I took the rope and ran it across her leg - that's when she yells and calls me an idiot :-( Oh well, she got over it when I bought her an ice cream cone.
