It kinda feels like most of the focus on character went to her while backstory went to Chase (MC) leaving Bren (the boy) with little to nothing other than the nerdy coward.

I rewatched it recently,10 years after i originally watched it and i personally still find it very enjoyable It kinda follows the "monster of the week" formula by introducing new monsuno in about half of the episodes
OMG YES! This was my favorite show in middle school. I watched the show all the way for all 3 seasons. The show overall (although I am slightly biased) is what I would call "enjoyably average". It has some good traits to it that make it fun to watch, however the negatives are definitely there and sort of cancel out the positives. As someone who still remains a fan of the series, I have a lot to say about it. The pros for me are: -The monster designs are very nice, with each faction having unique thematic qualities and traits. With a few small exceptions, there wasn't a monster design that I didn't hate. -The fights were good, albeit standard for shows of Monsuno's caliber. -All the main heroes had traits and personalities that made them likable and each had their own appeal, and made their interactions interesting. The relationship between the characters Jinja and Beyal I found to absolutely adorable. -The villain dynamic of having multiple independent villain factions was unique. -I consider the voice acting to be solid. -There was a fair amount of good plot twists and revelations, especially in season 2, such as Dax's backstory, the mystery surrounding Droog, the whereabouts of Chase's mom, and the origin of the character Becca. Cons: -For the most part, the villains were very generic. Dr. Klipse was your typical megalomaniac mad scientist, and Charlemagne was your standard military leader hellbent on ruling with an iron fist. Then in season 2, the Forge resistance just wanted to blow shit up, and the Hand of destiny wanted to become immortal using a relic. The only notable villains were Droog and One-eyed Jack because they actually had depth. -The plot and story is a mess. There's very little actual worldbuilding, there's a lot of loose ends and shit that goes unexplained (aka what happened to _?), and while not fillerly or villain of the week, is rather slow in terms of pacing. - There's not a whole lot of meaningful character development for the most part. While there're definitely good character moments and good chunks of characterization, most of the characters remain the same in terms of personality. They definitely go through changes, but not real growth for the majority of the show with the exceptions of characters such as Jon Ace, Beyal, and Dax (I'd actually argue that Dax is the best written character in the show). Season 3 remedied this somewhat, with the characters now having to learn to be part of a team and to put their past rivalries aside with the Strike Squad in order to work together and accept each other as allies. The villains are pretty much the same too. They're so one-dimensional with no development or growth. The only exception as mentioned earlier were the Strike Squad in Season 3. -Chase is practically a Gary Stu. While that is very common among these shows to have that type of hero, with how bland of a character Chase mostly is, it comes off as dumb. Sure he has his moments and he does have growth late in the show, but he's overall not a good hero and doesn't show good qualities of being a true leader. -Chase's father is a piece of shit. He's egocentric, really doesn't give two shits about Chase and doesn't even apologize for the shit he did, he's self righteous, hired Dax to painstakingly plant his Failsafe grid only to later destroy it in season 2 and not apologize or compensate to Dax, and shows no traits of being a real genuine father. He's an egotistical, selfish, lying sack of shit. -So many characters had wasted potential. The best characters that come to mind are Six, the Hand of Destiny, and the Strike Squad. Due to Six's connections to Chase, he had the potential to be a very compelling character that I hoped would have a redemption arc and rebel against his father Klipse. However, he ultimately was nothing more than a puppet to Dr. Klipse. the Hand of Destiny were bland because their connections relating to the Five tribes of Destiny were never explained. The Strike Squad were meant to be the Antithesis to the heroes, and that alone was a solid dynamic for season 2, but up until season 3, they were just that. An antithesis. Before season 3, Alpha (the Strike Squad leader) had a few scattered character moments, but those were mainly his conflicting ideals with Charlemagne and nothing more. His past was never explored nor how he and the other members joined (In fact the only member whose past we knew was Tango in Season 3). -Season 3 was rushed. While the 3rd season gave us some needed characterization and more monsters, the season's short length (13 episodes instead of 26 like the last 2 seasons) and it trying to finish up the story in those 13 episodes made it feel rushed, and while the ending did what it was supposed to with Droog being defeated and Klipse and Six behind bars, we still don't know about the other villain's fates (while several safe assumptions can be made about them being eventually arrested later on, there still is not a clear-cut answer). I honestly would have liked it if season 3 was a full 26 episodes if it meant there was more filler for the sake of world-building, characterization, or story progression. With all of this mind, Monsuno is a show that tries its best to establish its own identity, but ultimately falls into the tropes of its contemporaries. It's not a great show, but for a show of its kind, it does its job for what it is, and has enough things that make it an alright show to watch. I'd honestly recommend that anyone who's a fan of the fighting monster sub-genre give this show a watch just as a way to expand your horizons a bit. Now, for why I feel like it failed. I feel like the biggest reason for its failure was the toyline's lack of cohesion. You see, there was the TCG, and the Cores. The thing is that the show (which was used for marketing the toyline) didn't utilize or mention the TCG AT ALL, and only used the Cores. The problem was that the TCG was what the actual game was, and the Core's weren't really utilized in the game at all either, leaving the Cores as nothing more than collectibles. And when the TCG didn't do hot, the Cores followed, which was why we didn't get many of the Cores for later monsters that appeared in the show. I feel like if the Cores and the cards were more intertwined much like how with Bakugan Battle Planet today, then I could see the numbers being a bit higher. Something similar to this was actually done in the Europe-exclusive season 2 toyline. However, even though Monsuno has mostly faded into obscurity, it's not completely forgotten. Fans of the series still exist, and fan works are still being made on various platforms as of 2019 (Hell, I even made a cosplay of a Monsuno character last year). Karen Strassman and Keith Silverstein (two of the show's voice actors) have stated that Monsuno was one of the best shows they ever worked on, and say they missed playing these characters, and are glad whenever someone mentions the show to them. Now here's a juicy bit of recent info I got with my research. Jared Wolfson (who was one of the creators of Monsuno) was appointed Senior Vice President of Jakks Pacific in January 2018. Jakks Pacific owns the trademarks for Monsuno. Wolfson is spearheading Studio JP, a joint collaboration with Chinese animation studio Rising Anime to create multi-platform animations based on Jakks properties. Could this ever so slightly mean that there's a very faint possibility of a potential Monsuno reboot? Who knows. Only time will tell. Anyways, that's all I got for this show. A nice little obscure chunk of my later childhood that I loved so much. PS Don't talk shit on Jinja she's definitely best Waifu don't @ me
Things I remember about the show: - The monk dude, he was pretty chill - That guy who referred to the other main characters as 'bandito', pretended to betray the group that one time and was probably voiced by Speedwagon - STORM were bad guys, and their leader was a woman called Charlemagne - That one time the other set of bad guys straight-up kidnapped a major supporting character and turned him into a human-Monsuno abomination - That one time Lock got lost and they spent the entire episode trying to find him before he legitimately died - The OTHER other bad guys trying to steal and 'free' Monsuno, whose leader was definitely clinically insane. The girl was mute also, and two of their Monsuno were named Stingapede and Sizzler. (Sizzler was just a giant rhino) - That one time at the end of the season the three major groups' two main Monsuno fused somehow and they had an air battle, and no one really talked about it ever again
As someone who was a big fan of this show and very active as a fan when I was like?? God I don't even know? 12-ish?? I was and still am a big fan of Monsuno now at 19 years old. It definitely did not fail, It just struggled to find its way into the mainstream. I don't wanna sit here and criticize every little thing because I feel like it'd just come of as mean, but believe me like you mentioned with the show, while it may not be perfect, the characters are certainly incredibly likeable. Jinja was always my fave (She gets even better as you go on, she also kind of, maybe? commits attempted murder against the evil army lady), but Beyal was really great too. The card game was always kind of over my head, but as for the toys they work perfectly as intended, so long as you have another person to play with haha. It's not realistic to launch two together on your own, there's actually an indent on one side of the core to make spinning it much easier, I'd typically shoot them up against a wall for them to pop out. I appreciate seeing coverage of Monsuno since it really is a hidden gem in my eyes, but being completely honest I'm disappointed you didn't have more to say on "What happened to it" other than your own assumption which felt kind of weak...Overall though I really applaud this video because other than that it did feel like you didn't just look at one page of wikipedia and made a video, I really appreciated that you did your best to try and take a look at the toys. If you or anyone else here can manage to find a way to watch the full series with how difficult it is to find, I highly encourage you do so if you're interested! It may not be for everyone but it's a really fun ride even if towards the end of the final season you can tell they were pressed for closing it up due to not being able to continue to the franchise. From what I can remember the biggest issue they had was actually toy stock. They made so many recolors of the same monsters with shadow versions, idek glowy versions? there was a LOT of recolors, that just, SAT on shelves for literal YEARS near me in New York and what's worse is a lot of times new Monsuno would release in those recolored forms rather than their normal canon forms/colors which I don't think helped at all. One of my favorites, Poisonwing was only in a 4 pack in its normal color and I finally caved to getting it despite having the other 3 in it because it just did not get any other release. This also meant whenever new toys released specifically after season 1 and late into season 2, they weren't being put out on shelves in a lot of places, and most places in the states didn't even get any of the final season Monsuno which are now quite pricey online ;__; I'm pretty sure that was what hurt them the most, since, being a franchise that relies on selling toys like that to survive, if you're not able have your stock lined up with whats happening in the show, you're just not going to make any sales. Its airing was also weird if I remember correctly because it would air weekly, but sometimes just go on random hiatus for a LONG time. It started airing outside of Japan first, but at some part Japan's airing actually went faster than the west? And the final season stopped airing half way altogether on t.v. to make things worse. It's really heartbreaking to me, because they reached out to fans A LOT for what people wanted, and regularly would answer questions about the show and characters. They really put a lot of love into this series and it just did not get the respect it deserved for one reason or another :(
Ok I dont have the time to read the whole comment right now but I liked the show when I was a kid and I think it's cool that you wrote this comment cause I would do the same for my favourite childhood series Bakugan.
I like the idea of FINALLY having a female character in a cartoon/anime thing who isn't sexualized or idiotic. Where should I watch it? Sounds interesting.
This is so bad that even Nickelodeon didn't wanted it you know when a show is aired on nicktoons it's ether A. old shows or B. shows that nowon cares about and the get erased from existence
no nickelodeon just really doesnt likr anime shows. When they aired beyblade a part of nickelodeon died. I guess its bc the views arent as much ad youd get with plain spongebob etc
I feel like this franchise had all the right ideas but could execute none of them quite right, I assume this was nicks “answer” to the toy show craze which was bakugan and the massive beyblade metal series, both of which aired on Cartoon Network. Its wild to think in another timeline Nickelodeon won the “battle for the best battle toy franchise”.
We know know the winner monsuno got took out by beyblade and bakugan kinda offed itself why did beyblade win bc it was the only one to have a continuous runtime since bakugan needed a full on reboot and monsuno never saw the light of day
No offense but I think too much of this was focused on the game. I was expecting you to go back to the show or some other information about the show but the talk about the game kept going. Edit: You kinda went back to it at the end.
By what he said to about Hulu I guess he could not get through a season or more than five episodes as he did not noticed the colors represent the factions
Storm Hawks: I think it had an open ending for the series. I didn’t get to see the rest before they playing it. Redekai and Tai Chi Chasers: Not sure what and why.
Haos magna Ingram Dragon Booster ended sort of fine, but I don’t remember. Secret Saturdays had a pretty good ending. Dan Vs. never got a third season.
I actually enjoyed Monsuno. Pro: The opening is really cool. I liked the idea of the Monsunos and the cores, reminded me of a mix of Bakugan and Beyblade. Both shows I really like. The designes of the Monsunos and cores looked good. In real life the cores looked actually like in the series and spin pretty nice. I still have a lot of them. Con: The story was nothing special. Idk. I didn't really follow it for too long, maybe I should have but it didn't catch my attention fast enough. The toyfigures looked not to highquality. All in all not to bad. The story could have been better. For me I rather made up own characters in the universe than watching the show
Omg i really loved this show when i was 6 I still remember buyng the toys and playng with friends. The best part was always watching a new episode and finding a new color i think in the end we had Blue,Cyan,Yellow,Orange,Red,Grey,White,Black and Green
I just discovered your channel and im binge watching all of your videos. Chill guy with a calm and funny personality, and spot on reviews! Love your work, keep going! Im a new fan!
My local 99 cents store was pumping these out for a dollar along with stadiums, they stopped selling or completely sold all the remaining toys a while back, but what's curious is that they still have stacks of the stadiums lying around in the toy aisle to this day
2:52 - 3:05 Fact: Jinja's name in the Original Japanese version is Vicky, Beyal's name in the Original Japanese version is Noah and Dax's name in the Original Japanese version is Ash.
Thanks for doing this video since I did ask for it like enough where it might have gotten on your nerves. I enjoyed this show and found it interesting but I never bought the merchandise because I didn't have the money for since I'm poor. The reason why I requested this was because I wanted some answers on why it ended but now that I have them, I'm ok with it. It kept me entertained and I looked forward to it every week. Three seasons for a show like this is pretty good so I can't complain. Thanks Negative Legends.
Ah yes good old times. I remember that when Monsuno came out I was completely obsessed with it (as Bakugan had recently ended) and used to collect the toys.
The Monsuno toys were shit popular at the time near me. Everyone in my school would legit have monsuno toys and people would trade. There was always that one kid that brought in the stadium thing and hold battles at lunch breaks. My cousin also had them, and he went to a different school so I guess they must've been popular there as well.
I'm glad to see what you have remembered about the show however here's a few details that you have missed; team cortech is Chase suno and his friends they're the good guys while storm is the ones that use the black course and thereafter the power and there was more than just the two teams, team cortech ends up with 5 members, the monsunos fuse later on in the series, Chase finds his dad, Monsunos could die and chase's father is trying to prevent the planet from exploding due to the Monsuno energy that's being produced. Also monsunos can not be outside their cores for long without dying and the show had 65 episodes in total.
It was never really my favourite show but it came at a time when in 5th grade, I was impressed by the animation and desperately wanted to fill that bakugan void so I still enjoyed it, not sure if I could rewatch it but I don't know if I could stand rewatching bakugan either.
"Only after *intense research* did I realize..." every dollar-store sci-fi stories will use the phrase "after intense research" "only after intense research" or "intense research" without fail
I’ve actually never seen the show. I used to collect the toys when I was little. I also remember being genuinely happy whenever I saw one, even if I had no context of the plot or characters. I was a weird child...
Have you ever thought about looking at Blue Dragon? It was a XBox 360 game that Akira Toriyama helped designed. It was popular enough to get it's own anime series and was on Cartoon Network on Saturday mornings. I liked both enough, even though the anime differed from the game
I ADORE this show....i wished this didn't basically get wiped from cable existence.... It used to be such a great way to kill my time... Ironically i related to Jinja more than anyone in the show because: One. She basocally looked and acted like me... OcO Two. My birthday is October 2nd, her official birthday is October 3rd. 😊
This was genuinely one of my favourites But I sadly never got to see the ending And I forgot the name until someone on Reddit helped me remember it and now I have no way to watch it which makes me want to die also the theme genuinely is one of the best things ever created
i sorta remember this show! it was alright, it was one of those shows that id watch whenever it aired but wouldnt go out of my way to watch the whole thing.
I remember jamming to the intro because at that time, the song "Like A G6" by Far East Movement was popular. And yes, the intro was sang by Far East Movement.
I remember jamming to Monsuno at the age of 9 being like:"dun dun dun dun, dun dun dun... MoSUnO; I FEEEEEL THEHEEEEEEE EPPPPOWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!! nu nu nu nuuuu nuh.... GOT MY CORE READY nu nu .... NU NUH NUH NUUUU NUUUUU!!!!!"
I remember watching the first season way back when...and I really didn't like it. There were three big issues for me (not to say there weren't others). 1. The voice acting was pretty darn annoying at times. And when it wasn't annoying it was just...alright. 2. We keep fighting the same villains, using the same Monsuno, which just got repetitive after a while. 3. Sometimes it kind of feels like the main heroes just get a new Monsuno out of the blue. Like someone will just hold onto one of them before giving it to another. WHY DIDN'T YOU GIVE IT TO THEM SOONER!!! Granted, it's been years since I saw the show, so maybe I forgot something that explains these things. The only thing I kind of liked about the show were some of the creature designs. That's it. Edit: Also the ending of Season 1 was a total cop-out and I hated it.
I like don’t even really remember this show, don’t you go to watchcartoononline? They probably have the full series I’m currently re watching duel masters
MultiBoxingKid, and a show like this is basically a dead series so you kinda have to one piece those if you know what I mean, not to mention one of those show creators content claimed him and took his money so screw em, the big companies don’t deserve love when they don’t show it to us
Monsuno used to be an ok series there and long time but one of the characters that impressed me was Beyal. What a wised and quite cute little fish monk he was! xD
@@sirmel11 Duel Masters was originally just magic but when Wizards of the Coast abandoned it the other company basically retooled it into a completely different thing
Dude even back then I love this themeAnd I kind of wish Bakugan got a similar one I know it’s kind of in the same fashion but it’s not something I could really enjo 2:30
Yeah, they had two different versions of the game, very similar to how Bakugan does it now. You had the basic game, which was played using only the character cards and the Cores, and the advanced game, which was played using a full deck of cards. They said you could play the advanced game with the Cores, but I never figured it out.
I remember I watched a couple of episodes of Monsuno on TV so many years ago and kinda liked the art style and completely forgot it existed. That is, until I saw your video pop up in my feed.
You should try to watch the video about how to play monsuno "Monsuno TCG - Intermediate Gameplay Guide w/Cores ", is a 5 minutes video and once I tried to watch it with one of my friends... we barely made half the video before stopping, it was like a mess and by that point we been already playing yugioh.
The show was OK when was little I love it but now I still like it but everything better like they did with lbx than the show would have been apart of the top three shows with monsters(what I mean by top 3 is Yu-Gi-Oh Pokemon and Digimon and sometimes Bakugan
The season 2 theme the Best theme song in a cartoon. I liked the show. But bakugan and pokemon will always be better since it tried to copy both The cores are literally items that monsters come out of once something happens(like bakugan) The characters Also say I choose you a lot in the show
Like 90% of mon shows have items monsters come out of when something happens like pokeballs, bakugan balls, huntix amulets, the digivice in fusion etc. It doesn't mean you're copying bakugan, this show is but the description you gave applies to sooooo many shows

PS Don't talk shit on Jinja she's definitely best Waifu don't @ me
How long did this take you
Chase's father being a piece of shit isn't a bad thing, he's just a shitty person. It's nice to know the show has characters with flaws.
We ain't reading all of that.
Things I remember about the show:
- The monk dude, he was pretty chill
- That guy who referred to the other main characters as 'bandito', pretended to betray the group that one time and was probably voiced by Speedwagon
- STORM were bad guys, and their leader was a woman called Charlemagne
- That one time the other set of bad guys straight-up kidnapped a major supporting character and turned him into a human-Monsuno abomination
- That one time Lock got lost and they spent the entire episode trying to find him before he legitimately died
- The OTHER other bad guys trying to steal and 'free' Monsuno, whose leader was definitely clinically insane. The girl was mute also, and two of their Monsuno were named Stingapede and Sizzler. (Sizzler was just a giant rhino)
- That one time at the end of the season the three major groups' two main Monsuno fused somehow and they had an air battle, and no one really talked about it ever again
The monk was my favourite ❤
I love this series. I have watched it multiple times.
@@cyberink7093 i also love series bakugan. I still do.
Yeah nobody gonna read your comment
This is so bad that even Nickelodeon didn't wanted it
you know when a show is aired on nicktoons it's ether A. old shows or B. shows that nowon cares about and the get erased from existence
No. nickelodeon just puts anything that isn't spongebob or loudhouse on nicktoons.
Like they did when they had Dragon Ball Z Kai, which was actually better than the CW Kids version in my opinion.
@@Devilsblight86 exactly
Steriorgon Nicktoons and CN were my childhood...
no nickelodeon just really doesnt likr anime shows. When they aired beyblade a part of nickelodeon died. I guess its bc the views arent as much ad youd get with plain spongebob etc
“His dad was jamming rocks into animals”
MonkaS dude
Like animals that eat rocks?
I feel like this franchise had all the right ideas but could execute none of them quite right, I assume this was nicks “answer” to the toy show craze which was bakugan and the massive beyblade metal series, both of which aired on Cartoon Network.
Its wild to think in another timeline Nickelodeon won the “battle for the best battle toy franchise”.
This aired by nick, but it doesn't seem to be produced by them.
What Happened To Storm Hawks ?
What Happened To Redekai ?
What Happened to Tai Chi Chasers ?
Kaijudo?
Dragon booster?
Secret Saturdays?
Dan vs?
@@haosmagnaingram6992 Kaijudo is mentioned in the Duel Masters Video
Storm Hawks: I think it had an open ending for the series. I didn’t get to see the rest before they playing it.
Redekai and Tai Chi Chasers: Not sure what and why.
Haos magna Ingram Dragon Booster ended sort of fine, but I don’t remember. Secret Saturdays had a pretty good ending. Dan Vs. never got a third season.
Don’t forget A.T.O.M. That show stopped airing in the US after season two and continued to air the rest of the seasons in Canada.
I actually enjoyed Monsuno.
Pro:
The opening is really cool.
I liked the idea of the Monsunos and the cores, reminded me of a mix of Bakugan and Beyblade. Both shows I really like.
The designes of the Monsunos and cores looked good.
In real life the cores looked actually like in the series and spin pretty nice.
I still have a lot of them.
Con:
The story was nothing special. Idk. I didn't really follow it for too long, maybe I should have but it didn't catch my attention fast enough.
The toyfigures looked not to highquality.
All in all not to bad. The story could have been better. For me I rather made up own characters in the universe than watching the show
@Triathe _ I think the cores are good quality but the figures lack a bit
Was the show cancelled or did it just end
@@alexandrethomson2 It has 3 seasons and I think it just ended.
@@cyberink7093 the third season was short so I think it most likely got cancelled and they just ended it.
Shame i enjoyed it
@@alexandrethomson2 true the last season was pretty short. But I havent watched it so idk if it ends with a logical end or with a cliffhanger
Omg i really loved this show when i was 6
I still remember buyng the toys and playng with friends.
The best part was always watching a new episode and finding a new color i think in the end we had Blue,Cyan,Yellow,Orange,Red,Grey,White,Black and Green
I recall one of the developers in an interview claiming this would be bigger than Pokemon lmao. They really were in over their heads with this one.
Just wow.....
They probably knew all of that but still thought it would be bigger.
Not only that but this show only had 5 English voice actors and only a single female among them. Not a great sign
Hell yea! Been hoping you would do this one
I just discovered your channel and im binge watching all of your videos.
Chill guy with a calm and funny personality, and spot on reviews!
Love your work, keep going! Im a new fan!
I remember watching this as a kid. It was very popular in Greece and everybody was collecting the collectable chips you would get from cheetos. lol
i had so many monsuno chips, i even collected the football ones
I was once was OBSESSED of this cartoon and got some of the toys
My local 99 cents store was pumping these out for a dollar along with stadiums, they stopped selling or completely sold all the remaining toys a while back, but what's curious is that they still have stacks of the stadiums lying around in the toy aisle to this day
Starting to love these what happened series always full of nostalgia

Fact: Jinja's name in the Original Japanese version is Vicky,
Beyal's name in the Original Japanese version is Noah
and Dax's name in the Original Japanese version is Ash.
THE OPENING SONG OF MONSUNO IS A BOP
AND NO ONE CAN CHANGE MY MIND
Negative: "It's Okay, Toby, it's just a bad toy"
Toby: *"But that's what scares me"*
why was the OP for this show so good? like it was so simple and yet an absolute bopper
I just liked the girl's design and that the show was something like anime style.
Nice video as always, NL. Greetings!
@Draconic Lightning woah there buddy calm down. I know this was 5 months ago but still.
@Draconic Lightning it's a cross between anime & western cartoon though lol
I randomly remembered this show and found this video.
Only thing I really remember about the show is the theme song which I enjoyed. I think the show itself was alright but extremely forgettable
facts
OMG SAME. I ONLY REMEMBER THE THEME-
You're digging up memories I've never would have found
I'm glad to see what you have remembered about the show however here's a few details that you have missed; team cortech is Chase suno and his friends they're the good guys while storm is the ones that use the black course and thereafter the power and there was more than just the two teams, team cortech ends up with 5 members, the monsunos fuse later on in the series, Chase finds his dad, Monsunos could die and chase's father is trying to prevent the planet from exploding due to the Monsuno energy that's being produced. Also monsunos can not be outside their cores for long without dying and the show had 65 episodes in total.
I remember this and buy some and never watch the show and after played a little but thought it was kinda dumb so i used arena for beyblade
I legit also bought the Arena and ended up using it for Beyblade too! Sadly it still sucked.
@@WyseWalker i had a friend who also had one did the same thing so we would sometimes bring 2 at the same time
Same tbh
Self stadium outs occurred very often
FINALLY! I wanted this for so long!
"Jam Rocks into Animals?.."
Is this what inspired Skylanders Imaginators?..
It sounds so wrong but funny at the same time
combining rocks with animals sounds like FMA taboo sciences
“It scared my dog” Burn the toy for it’s CRIMES
congrats for the 80k
It was never really my favourite show but it came at a time when in 5th grade, I was impressed by the animation and desperately wanted to fill that bakugan void so I still enjoyed it, not sure if I could rewatch it but I don't know if I could stand rewatching bakugan either.
"Only after *intense research* did I realize..."
every dollar-store sci-fi stories will use the phrase "after intense research" "only after intense research" or "intense research" without fail
I’ve actually never seen the show. I used to collect the toys when I was little. I also remember being genuinely happy whenever I saw one, even if I had no context of the plot or characters. I was a weird child...
What happened to Redakai?
What happened Tai Chi Chasers?
I loved those shows
I want to know that myself
what happend to redakai realy?

Omg I remember watching this when I was like 12. So many memories!
Oh my god you brought me back so many memories i remember watching this years ago
Have you ever thought about looking at Blue Dragon? It was a XBox 360 game that Akira Toriyama helped designed. It was popular enough to get it's own anime series and was on Cartoon Network on Saturday mornings. I liked both enough, even though the anime differed from the game
Phoenix Warrior I had the game
I really need to thank u for making this video , because I went through all my childhood anime toys
I ADORE this show....i wished this didn't basically get wiped from cable existence.... It used to be such a great way to kill my time...
Ironically i related to Jinja more than anyone in the show because:
One. She basocally looked and acted like me... OcO
Two. My birthday is October 2nd, her official birthday is October 3rd. 😊
I’ve watched this show again after like 7 years and I still love it, so sad to see that it didn’t make it so far.
Talked about a Franchise that came and went by so fast.
I thought this was a fever dream since i was the only one who seemed to remember it when i asked my friends who also watched the show
A lot of these under watched cartoons all have the same story, three kids travel to find one kids dad, same thing with redikia
Yes!
Edit: thank you for taking a look at it, I recently found a few monsuno toys and cards actually
This was genuinely one of my favourites
But I sadly never got to see the ending
And I forgot the name until someone on Reddit helped me remember it
and now I have no way to watch it which makes me want to die
also the theme genuinely is one of the best things ever created

My friend loved that opening theme so much he set it as his ring tone. He was 20 years old and he said it's a kick ass song. And it is.
OOOOOOOOMG I CANT BELIEVE THEIRS OTHER WHO REMEMBER THIS.

i sorta remember this show! it was alright, it was one of those shows that id watch whenever it aired but wouldnt go out of my way to watch the whole thing.
I had alllllll the toys from this show.
Honestly this show probably had the best toys
Monsuno is also on TubiTv, its a free streaming service
I loved this show, it was one of those you watched before going to school in the morning, loved it all the way
I like don’t even really remember this show, don’t you go to watchcartoononline?
They probably have the full series
I’m currently re watching duel masters
From what I understand, he doesn’t like using free streaming services if he can support the creators.
MultiBoxingKid, and a show like this is basically a dead series so you kinda have to one piece those if you know what I mean,
not to mention one of those show creators content claimed him and took his money so screw em, the big companies don’t deserve love when they don’t show it to us
You just dug deep into the depths of my memory cuz I would never remember this if wasn’t for this vid
Speaking of Obscure Junk on Nicktoons anyone remember Skyland? I remember seeing promo's for it but never actually watched the show
CatFox I watched the show and they never finished it. Think it went for one or two seasons before it was canceled, leaving the main plot unresolved.
BRO YES I have all the episodes downloaded. This show was my LIFE as a child bro
They should really bring back shows like this and monsuno, and magi nation etc.
I saw this and started breathing manually, I remember seeing this ages ago, and could never find it again
They theme song lowkey was actually fire probably the only thing memorable about that anime 😅😅
Monsuno used to be an ok series there and long time but one of the characters that impressed me was Beyal. What a wised and quite cute little fish monk he was! xD

i had compleatly forgotten about this show, most of the ones you do vids on were full of memories.
i saw this one but i forgot all about it
Dude even back then I love this themeAnd I kind of wish Bakugan got a similar one I know it’s kind of in the same fashion but it’s not something I could really enjo 2:30
Yeah, they had two different versions of the game, very similar to how Bakugan does it now. You had the basic game, which was played using only the character cards and the Cores, and the advanced game, which was played using a full deck of cards. They said you could play the advanced game with the Cores, but I never figured it out.
Bruh I remember waking up at 6:30 and watching on CITV damn 7 years
I remember I watched a couple of episodes of Monsuno on TV so many years ago and kinda liked the art style and completely forgot it existed. That is, until I saw your video pop up in my feed.

You should try to watch the video about how to play monsuno "Monsuno TCG - Intermediate Gameplay Guide w/Cores

omg iv been searching for this for like forever
Hulu did have mansion on it but they took it down lasted years
I WAS WAITING FOR THIS ONE
The show was OK when was little I love it but now I still like it but everything better like they did with lbx than the show would have been apart of the top three shows with monsters(what I mean by top 3 is Yu-Gi-Oh Pokemon and Digimon and sometimes Bakugan
All I remember about Monsuno is "It existed, for about 2 seconds"
Oh my lord and lady I totally forgot about this😱
Another random show from my childhood. I should rewatch it someday.
The season 2 theme the Best theme song in a cartoon. I liked the show. But bakugan and pokemon will always be better since it tried to copy both
The cores are literally items that monsters come out of once something happens(like bakugan)
The characters Also say I choose you a lot in the show
Like 90% of mon shows have items monsters come out of when something happens like pokeballs, bakugan balls, huntix amulets, the digivice in fusion etc. It doesn't mean you're copying bakugan, this show is but the description you gave applies to sooooo many shows
This show almost nothing in common with bakugan.
I HAD THIS AND I COULDN'T REMEMBER WHAT IT WAS CALLED LMAO FINALLY THANKS RECOMMENDED!
