Just evacuated from Saint Petersburg. 25 year resident. Could not stay for this one. Everything is still saturated from Helene. There is no where for the moisture from Milton to go. My advice is get out to higher ground if you can. Blessings

Except he signed a law making it harder for Floridians to sue their insurance companies for nonpayment on their claims after taking in huge donations from the insurance companies. He’s there for the cameras before the storm, afterwards he is no where to be found. These actions don’t sound like a caring person. Do your research and fact check me, then tell me he cares about us.

Tampa has been lucky for a long time now, please be safe and get out if you’re in danger of flooding.
Snowbirds do it the right way. They go down to Florida in November and come back in April. They skip hurricsne season.

The man was right, there are not enough scoopers to put the trash in the trucks. Not sure how they missed that... Disappointed the red tape stopped this work from being done all week. Appreciate the efforts but they will fall short. Let's just hope the storm, the surge, is not that bad for areas like this where debri complicates things.

Sad, and makes me sick to see all the salvageable things that other people could use in those piles. Everything trashed for insurance and FEMA money, overloading our landfills and increasing our insurance rates. Understand no time this time, but WOW the things that could go to Restore, Goodwill or a cleanup flea market, stuff that could be cleaned up and reused, but now we live in a throw away society. Unbelievable.
