While I loved that _Dial of Destiny_ (2023) ended with Indy and Marion's reconciliation, I feel that there is something missing in the ending. The biggest unanswered question of _Dial of Destiny_ (2023) is whether Indy's family legacy would end with him or if he and Marion actually have a grandchild somewhere. My theory is that during the Vietnam War, Mutt may have fathered a child with a lover but neither he nor his parents would know about the kid before his death or disappearance in Vietnam. Indiana and Marion would not learn about the existence of their grandchild until some time after _Dial of Destiny_ (2023). If _Indiana Jones_ does get revisited with Expanded Universe materials such as novels, comic books, or even a streaming miniseries, perhaps Indy and Marion searching for their long-lost grandchild could be a potential storyline. Maybe Helena and Teddy could play a role in finding Indy and Marion's grandchild.
