(Season 4, Episode 64) The dude's reminisce about the good, the bad, and straight up weird experiences they've had with trying new things. Original Release Date: 10/7/2024 spotify.link/d...
I’ve been reloading these on the TH-cam app, but I just went to the TH-cam page and again it is just a wall of distractible videos. I absolutely love this. It just makes me laugh so hard.
Way back in the day, I went to six flags over texas several times over a summer. One such trip, the Mr Freeze ride was newly opening and I wanted to ride. The line was like 3 hours long and the need to pee struck me when I was within a few minutes of being my turn. I saw a bathroom by the exit so I decided to hold it as the ride itself wasn't too long. My turn came up, the ride launches, does the track, and the breaks lock up early. The things that hold you in wouldn't lift until we were back into position so I couldn't get out until it was fixed. Another 30min later, they unlocked the breaks, we slowly crept into position, and I was able to finally get to the bathroom. Almost didn't make it.
I'll take the bait and be the oddball here, I love alcohol flavor, I hate that it gets me inebriated. If I could drink alcohol and never get drunk, I would have the time of my life. I've always enjoyed it more or less, my first experience with alcohol was champagnes as a kid, little sips for New Year. And it was confusing at first, but it was interesting. It was this whole other flavor/mouthfeel I'd never experienced. I definitely dislike some alcohols? And really strong stuff I can't drink comfortably because it's just like rubbing alcohol with a hint of vanilla or something. But I'm a big alcohol lover, and its not remotely because of the alcohol drunk factor. It also means I'm really good at not drinking too much on a regular basis, because I have like a glass of something and it's a nice treat with no intent to even get tipsy. It's nice.
Alcohol is indeed like coffee or tea in that there's a very powerful front taste of ethanol (or in coffee and tea's case, I assume tannins and the caffeine itself) that masks a lot of the more nuanced flavors. Over time, that flavor becomes less dominant and complements the other flavors there. I honestly like a dash of bitters in seltzer because I like the bitterness and slight ethanol twinge, even if it's a negligible amount of alcohol. If you look into whiskey or cocktail culture you'll see a lot of people enthusiastic about the flavor itself, else people wouldn't spend hundreds of dollars on particular bottles. I think if you wanted to build a palette, you'd have to really sit down with specific beverages and really actively taste them to find the flavor hiding under the ethanol and find what you like, and it probably won't happen if you just drink to get drunk or find the thing on the menu least offensive to your current palette. That said, alcohol is quite a bit more unhealthy than coffee or tea, and also more expensive, so unless you have a compelling curiosity or other reason to actively learn to like it, probably not worth it.
At 40:18 I have to agree with Mark only I was a Host which in itself is not an easy thing to do you have to remember where the empty sections are who's serving in those sections and how many in a party. The upside is tips but just like waiters hosts basically live on tips
I never drink to get drunk. I don't like being drunk at all. That said there are a few alcoholic drinks I do love the taste of especially with a meal. Mostly dry drinks like G&T but also a white Russian. But I never have more than one.

they make non alcoholic drinks that taste like alcohol.
Not recognizing the name of Frank Welker that hurt me so much. I hope they looked at his list of his acting career

Thanks for letting us know
Eyo? When did they start doing TH-cam releases again?
Literally 170+ today that's when today ,🤣
Eating up back to back uploads but what is going on😭
The common theory I am seeing is that the Spotify contract is done so now they don't have an exclusivity deal barring them from uploading.
First?
