Love me some skip. I say that with the utmost manliness and uncompromising record of heterosexuality😆😆😆😆. But seriously…. He is such a blessing. I quote him a lot at my mens bible study
Jesus!! Savior!!Mary did not give you to us. She was chosen to bear you. Not a deity. Creator, Provider, and Protector. Not afraid to mess with the money of the High Priest. You are the Word and throughout this sermon we are reminded, The WORD will always be fulfilled. Hallelujah!!
I follow a Jewish messianic teacher from a college in Jerusalem. He was saying that the third day of creation God created land, sea and life....so they got married on the third day to commemorate the third day of creation, by tradition. I thought that was interesting.
When Jesus Christ turned water into wine, He changed the inorganic into organic. When God created Adam, He turned inorganic into organic. Only God cam do this.
Thank you for this inspiring message. I would like to clear that there is no dogma on Mary being the CO Redemptricks or Mediatrics, although it was considered. Yes there is a dogma on the assumption of Mary and why not, if Enoch and Eliajha could be taken to heaven in body. There has been apprations of Mary time and again, PS give some respect to her if God Himself has given her 🙏
incorrect. The Roman Catholic church absolutely DOES refer to Mary as co-redemptress. They also teach that Mary was sinless. As far as Enoch and Elijah, first of all, the Bible does not say they were sinless (nor was Mary) and secondly the Bible actually SAYS they were caught up into Heaven. It does not say any such thing about Mary. Mary is DEAD and will remain DEAD until Christ, the first fruits of the resurrection retrurns. Stop worshipping Mary.
@@paultrosclair1775 co redemptrix and mediatrix of graces , yes. It's consistent with the teachings of the apostolic age and the early church fathers who venerated Mary as Queen and intercessor offering prayers to Jesus through her. This being 150ad when the first murals of our Theokotos. As for her assumption, yes there's precedence for it as Enoch and Elijah had also been taken into heaven. As to your point that she's dead, no. God is a God if the living not the dead, all who believe in him have eternal life. She is happily alive and serving God in heaven and of course she visits us on earth, sent by Jesus to communicate his will by Marian apparitions such as Our Lady of pillar/ Fatima/Lourdes/Garabandal/Medjugorje. Since she is the "Queen Mother" of all Christians you'd do well to pay respect to her as much as Christ honored her
Do non messianic Jewish people still sacrifice in the temple at Passover? Obviously Jesus replaced the sacrificial system, but they don't believe Jesus is the Messiah....
Currently, there are no animal sacrifices in Jerusalem during Passover or at any other time. This is primarily because the Jewish temple, which was the central place for such sacrifices, was destroyed in 70 CE by the Romans. According to traditional Jewish belief and law, sacrifices can only be performed at the Temple in Jerusalem, specifically on the Temple Mount, by the descendants of Aaron, the Kohanim (priests).
I enjoyed the teaching but I don't agree with how you handled the subject of alcohol. If you choose not to drink, that is certainly your perogative. Drinking is not evil in itself. Therefore, to be seen drinking does not convey the appearace of evil. If someone chooses to come to the conclusion that you are over indulging, that is their fault, not yours. Don't you recall what Jesus said they called him ? "A gluttonous man and a winebibber(drunkard)". Jesus KNEW they would falsely accuse HIm of being a drunk. Yet He drank wine and turned water into wine anyway. This way of addressing alcohol is a bit pharisaic. People say "well it's not a sin do drink but you wouldn't want it to hurt your witness". Clearly that was not something that concerned Jesus. It's a subtle way of saying "drinking isn't a sin but you shouldn't do it anyway". That's how Pharisees operate. They add the commandments of men to the commandments of God. Now as far as a brother who has a particular weakiness to over indulgence with alcohol, I would not drink IN FRONT OF HIM. I wouldn't put a stumbling block in his way. That does't mean I wouldn't drink in my home or in a public place where that brother was not present. Be careful not to subtlily put a limitation on believers that the Lord Himself does not put on them. If Jesus thought drinking wine was being reckless with the grace of God, He wouldn't have made it wine. Jesus was literally the messiah, God in human form, yet HE HIMSELF DRANK WINE.
while some may see a hint of passive-aggressiveness in Mary’s statement, it is more widely interpreted as an expression of concern and faith in Jesus. Her intent seems to be driven by the cultural importance of hospitality and a mother’s trust in her son’s abilities.
He said it directly after that the fact that people rather believe in something they can wrap their heads around than believing that the miracles Jesus were perform as it is..a miracle
His teaching is a fresh drink of water I try to take in, daily.

Yes birthing a baby is a miracle...thanks to Jesus
No, it's not. It is a natural process that happens all the time. It does not require the laws of nature to be suspended.
Once again, thank you, very informative and moving. The Lord is using you.
i realize it is kinda randomly asking but do anyone know of a good website to watch newly released tv shows online?

I wish alcohol had never been made. So many lives have been ruined!
That's crazy to say "anyone who has a hard time with Jesus, I have a hard time with him". Not the best approach for making disciples

I don’t believe the world is round or that we went to the moon. Doesn’t it say that in the Bible?
I do believe childbirth is miraculous

I thought it disrespectful that Jesus called his mother woman I should have known better.

Jesus’s mother was passive aggressive :) She just mentioned pointedly “…they’ve run out.”
Interesting thought.

When there is so much to be said about this great Gospel why spend so much time on a negative critique on William Barclay?
He said it directly after that the fact that people rather believe in something they can wrap their heads around than believing that the miracles Jesus were perform as it is..a miracle
