Russell Tree Experts is experienced in right of way trimming with competitive ODOT contact pricing. Over an 18 month period between 2021 and 2022, we’ve trimmed over 140 miles for ODOT district 9. With a 3 to 4 person crew, we’re able to trim on average 2 to 3 miles per day. We utilize telescoping tree trimmers to clear limbs overhanging any guard rails, articulated loaders with broom attachments to push limbs into piles, grapple trucks to haul away material, and high velocity ride-on blowers to blow any leaves or small debris off of roadways. I also work for family owed business. We do low impact land clearing under the company name Forest Mulchers in VA. We started with mulchers doing general land clearing for lots, farms, and pastures. Just last year we won a couple bids on VDOT state contracts, one is over 500miles of roadway. We're operating with a 60ft boom truck with a chipper and a CAT 309 escavator with a mulching head attachment. I run the CAT infront my boom truck clearing brush and small trees to lighten the load on groundmen while the rest cut overhangs and do groundwork.
