As far as stopping someone from stealing it, I would just hide a simple kill switch somewhere sneaky. Once saw a guy used his cigarette lighter doodad as a wired kill switch. Had to push it in, otherwise the car wouldn’t start no matter what. Bloody brilliant!
Fair play to you for tackling these mods yourself, and portraying them honestly in your vids. The Masai interior trim really looks good. Thanks for the discount code too!
Very smart. Looks great 👍. What you could do is raptor the rear floor and sides below rear windows. I did it and it not only looks good but also easy to clean and it has sound deadening qualitys
Marcus, looks awesome, such a difference completely tidies it up , going to look to see if they do for my 110 as loving the material as opposed to plastic I have currently - can’t wait for Part 2 which I’m hoping is seats and cubby box (as need to do mine)!
Looking great! Is there room between the metal sides and the new trim to apply some sound deadening material, if you wanted too? Should the moisture that you mentioned that accumulates on the walls be stopped now? Thanks for the quality video!
Thanks Jerry- yes you could add a little more strips of deadening if you wanted- moisture wise I have no idea! Let’s see in winter! It’s made of GRP this material though so won’t get soggy on the back

Thanks, sometimes challenging. Appreciate you watching 👍🏻
What a big difference, looks great ! 👍🏻
Cheers
I'm guessing the drive is much better too with the added sound proofing 👍
Haven’t been out with it yet much but definitely feels and sounds less echoey and noisy which is a bonus 👌🏻
Cracking upgrade Doc.....This is something that I need in my life.
👌🏻👌🏻

Nice idea 👌🏻👌🏻
Looks so much better, now you have to change the colour of the roof fabric to match the side black bits lol.
My OCD wouldn’t let me live with that.
🤣
Top right hand corner of your rear rh glass you can see outside
There is an annoying gap that some rubber filler I put in fell out. The owner before me cut the side windows in and went a bit big I think!
Looks great. Do you have an episode where you covered that rear cut out behind the seats? Did you notice any change in rigidity?
Thanks - I don’t have one specifically around that- I did do one when I cut the bulkhead out (not a nice job to do!)

Part 2 out next week! I think you’ll be interested to see!
Doc.
That's neat.
Thanks 👍🏻

Hi what kind of rime size and tires do you have?
Hey Lewie they are standard LR boost alloys on 30mm spacers with 265/75 cooper STT Pro tyres 👌🏻
Evening chap, your Defender is known as a hard top, not a van back !.
Thanks for the nice videos..
Adam.
Thanks! Sort of the same thing 🤷♂️
