What a brilliant revelation! The spruce twig filter in the coffee pot spout is not just an ingenious tweak; it’s a perfect example of how simple, natural elements can enhance our everyday routines alongside modern technology like drones. By incorporating the twig, you're introducing an organic filtration process that likely adds a subtle, aromatic flavor to your coffee, elevating the entire experience. It’s fascinating how blending traditional methods with innovative tools can lead to a richer outcome. Your experience highlights the beauty of discovery in the mundane, proving that even the most familiar tasks can hold new possibilities. Thank you for sharing this insight! With regard from Malaysia.
Welcome back, Swedwoods, we missed you! No exception, this video super: relaxing, educational, nice landscape, and innovative bushcraft. Peculiar that inserting from the inside improves filtration. But like you said in another comment: it does! =)
The location! I seriously want to jump on a plane with my bergen and experience that place. Not that simple I know, but damn....that back country is just full of wonder.
Relaxing video with all of the moving nature shots you included. The sun glinting off the water evokes so many memories for me, both as a child and as an adult, spending halcyon days boating, sailing, fishing and lazily observing beautiful lakes and all their wonders. Thank you.
Hello from Oklahoma! Beautiful Country! Thanks again for allowing us to tag along! That was some good-looking beef. Sometimes after a rain shower fish become pretty tight lipped. Thanks for all You Do! God Bless!
Welcome back Woodsman and thanks for another episode. Remember being fascinated when I first saw the spruce twig filter. This is a nice modification. All the best from the UK
I just read the spruce coffee filter topic in the introduction and my first thought was that I saw later, haha. Amusement, pleasure and learning on and on from your videos. And calm, endless calm. Thanks a lot again.
Hello swed. We are happy that you have returned to us with a new video after a long time. You have shared your special talents and beautiful views again. I would like to share some information with your permission. In nature, to clean the water, including viruses, it is enough to put pine kindling the size of an index finger in 1 liter of water and wait for 24 hours. It will also have a detox effect. Thank you, greetings.
Thanks! I guess the resin in pine could get rid of some bacteria and viruses... but I doubt it. The reason resin rich stumps can stand in the woods for hundreds of years is water cannot penetrate them. So I doubt you can simply dissolve the resin simply by putting kindling in cold water. And even if it did work..... drinking resin infused water would be nasty stuff so no thank you.
@@Swedwoods My dear friend, a friend of mine who is a Zıraart engineer gave me this information and said that it was a method used by soldiers in World War II. Greetings.
Hello Swedwoods.. welcome back.. Another enjoyable video as always.. Those steaks were mouth watering 😋 great idea in a waffle iron.. always enjoy seeing you camping at different locations.. magnificent views..🐟🎣❤
Well I'm going to have to finish watching this later, as it keeps putting me to sleep. Not saying it's boring, mind you; it's just too relaxing. The fire crackling, the waves on the rocks & wind through the trees... it all sounds so peaceful. So good night, and I'll see you again after my nap! edit- Oh, and the waffles looked (and sounded *crrrunch*) delicious!
...and finished watching. It's strange how much modern media influences our perceptions. Just after the canoe bumped into the rock and you were filming while walking, I couldn't shake the thought of "found footage horror" movies. Does Sweden have it's own version of The Blair Witch? 😆 My guess is the spruce twig filter would probably be easier to remove from the spout when done. Simply pull out instead of pushing into and then back out of the kettle. And also possibly let less coffee grounds slip through when reversed like that. A simple improvement to an already simple - but very effective - camping hack.
Hello my friend good to see you again . Food is good like always only the fish want bite but don't worry here not much different. You are a good fishermen you put the little Barsch what we call him in Germany back. I really liked the waffles they where so cross and i could smell them here . So my friend have a good night i enjoyed your video see you hopefully soon. All the best for you and your family. Bye bye👍👍👍

I really like thi]ose small efficient fires you use. so many people have huge blazes , and why ! love what you do , thankyou for sharing your experiences
Backward facing needles trap more grounds..among other things and easier to remove without leaving needles in the kettle😉 A full size lavvu, nice when it turns cold.. Steak and waffles, now we're talking. Catching is way more fun than fishing eh. Great video once again, well done as always. Thanks for the work and trip. See ya soon.
I always watch your videos from Japan. Your videos don't have unnecessary background music, which makes me feel like I'm camping alongside you. Also, though you always have a neutral expression, it's curious how the food you eat still looks so delicious :)
