Abel Damina needs serious prayers, I mean serious prayer to return to God and pray that God should keep the people who are listening to him from straying. They are all the Yes Sir.

May God grant us the heart that when we see someone whom we believe is in error that we pray for them out of love and concern for them and the sheep they oversee that God guides them aright, put and keep them on the right path instead of attacking and calling for their destruction, especially an error where they are trying to be sincere and represent God in a way that they believe is The Truth (despite widespread criticisms that they receive) and not done to deliberately steal money or demand eternal loyalty from the sheep..
I saw someone post a comment here just now (i think it has been removed), saying God should "remove" Dr Damina. Is that person even a Christian? It is sad.

Dr Damina's interpretational model is simple...
1. He has decided for himself was a good Divine Being should be like with a good standard that is outside of God Himself.
2. If he finds scriptures that support his view of a "good God", he's for it.
3. If he encounters scriptures that seem to go against his "good God", he must find a way to interpret it and attribute it to either the devil or to man.
The problem with his understanding of God is that God is not good in and of Himself. Dr Damina's God must meet a standard of goodness outside of God Himself. And so if an event occurs that looks bad, destructive or evil from a human point of view occurs, it cannot be God. However, God is good regardless of how we interpret his actions. He is goodness Himself. Everything he does is good, not because God is meeting some external standard of goodness but because He is simply good. Everything He does is good whether we deem it good or not because where we see evil in His actions, He is working a good thing. We cannot judge God's goodness or supposed actions of evil based on our own finite understanding of what it means to be good. It is like a child who does not understand why his mother had left him to be pricked by the needle of a nonchalant looking nurse. In fact, when it comes to God and us, it is infinitely wider than what a child considers good and what his mother considers good. Ours is to believe in His goodness even if we do not understand what He is doing and why He is doing it. And we must not try to defend God's honor according to how we men consider what goodness is, but how good God is by Himself.

Wow, such a relationship with a father that I'm never sure of what His actions will be, because I don't understand His goodness, very funny and interesting and lazy way to interpret the scriptures
This God that we can't really understand gave ten commandments, and None of them had anything that implied; if it's good in your eyes, do it.
God is love, if it was left to people like you, we'll probably hear that love isn't always good, but thank God for Brother Paul who clearly gives us the border line as to what love does and what love doesn't do in Galatians
And about the Child analogy, when I was a child, my mom did things I didn't understand which I felt was wicked but turns out it was good, majorly because, "How could she simply communicate them to me if she wanted to?"
Lol, but is that the way it is between you and God today? Since God cannot communicate with you, He just has to do it. The same Father that says "COME LET US REASON TOGETHER", You understood His love at salvation and suddenly you don't understand every other good thing he does.

If you believe that Jesus is the Revelation of God, did Jesus do things you didn't understand and then you simply Said, well, it's Divine so how could we ever understand? Didn't you try to interpret them?
Even when Paul was to be arrested in Jerusalem, He was bound in the Spirit, He knew that something terrible was coming by the Revelation of God's spirit, He didn't just say whatever is the will of God should be after all we don't always understand his goodness.
When I see WHAT DOESN'T LOOK LIKE GOD, I rebuke it as a believer, I don't say it might be God's goodness
That obviously shows a clear distinction!

I was almost carried away by his teachings on tithing but listening to his other messages I became scared,he said JESUS was not born by Mary, God does not give children, ,communion is idol worship, believers will not go heaven, if so what about rapture? and etc etc,the end time is near children of God ,please guard your heart against false teachings because even the elects will be decieved

The confusion here is that the believers may be thinking that people in heaven think like people on earth. There are some scriptures that if I were Dr Damina, I will stay away from. Revelation 5:5 calls Jesus “the lion of the tribe of Judah” as a TITLE while the reference in 2 Tim 4:17, lion is used as a METAPHOR. This is simple English that should not confuse anyone. In Proverbs 28:1, the RIGHTEOUS is said to be as bold as a lion and here it is used as a SIMILE.
Psalms 103:20-21 talks about God’s angels as doing His pleasure. How can they do god’s pleasure if they are learning from Damina. This is ridiculous. And why did God send His angels to minister to and for us who are heirs of salvation in Hebrews 1:14? When you denigrate God’s angels, you indirectly denigrate God because you are inferring that you could have made a better choice of angels. I think we need to remain humble and not go overboard in our so-called revelation.
Abraham is the Father of ALL those who have made Jesus their Lord and Savior Galatians 3:29 and God Himself has NEVER INSULTED Abraham. If Damina can insult Abraham this way, then he has no respect for ANYONE.
genesis 6:14 said God told Noah to build an ark and gave him the description unless Damina is saying he doesn’t believe the Bible.
The cult called the Jehovah’s Witness arose out of one man’s disbelief with certain parts of the Bible especially God having a Son and also God sending someone to Hell and that is why Charles Taze Russell created Jehovah’s Witness in 1870 and mistranslated the Bible in the so called New World Translation to suit what he believed. Let us be VERY CAREFUL how we question the Bible. It can be dangerous.
Pastors should talk about the gospel not about Dr Damina

Where did Damina acquire his Dr.? I believe it is not in theology. He seems to be confused about basic Christian beliefs.
Those who hold Doctorate in Theology are even worse. A high degree in theology doesn't necessarily expose you to the revelation of Christ.

God told Noah in Genesis 6:14 - 17 to build the Ark. Noah did not decide to build one but God.
How do you read your bible ?
You can't just cut a part of his message and tagged it as a wrong or false teaching.
Dr. Abel Damina will take some many months teaching a particular topic and someone somewhere will now cut out just a particular saying and now tagged it as a false teaching.

Long ago, I started wondering if Damina sees vision and hears from God.

God bless you Bro. Gideon. This is my first time of watching your channel and I am so glad with your approach to this issue of Dr. Damina's teachings. You didn't just criticise but you provided the biblical positions on each issues to show why Damina was wrong and balance up the teachings very appropriately.
I like Damina for his courage to turn away from the health and wealth heresies but I am disappointed that he seems not to be careful to study the subjects he is teaching well and with correct hermeneutical principles, so as to "rightly divide the word of God".
One of the problems I noticed is that in the quest to embellish the biblical stories he got them distorted. He is not the only one who does this, many other preachers, Christian movies and songs writers commit the same error.
Dr. Damina is also guilty of what is called "sanitizing the Scripture". Again he is not the only one who does that, many Christian children workers, who are not well trained do the same. They don't want to teach anything negative about some Bible characters and God to children.
It is important to realize that embellishing biblical records to make them appealing or contemporary and sanitizing the Scripture are not correct. Trying to do that will always push us into the error of "proof texting", and taking Bible passages, words, and concepts out their biblical contexts.
We can compare what happened in a biblical story to contemporary situations and apply the lessons to our our own situations, without embellishing or sanitizing it.
For example all that Dr. Damina wanted to teach from the story of Abraham is that he became rich through hard work and not giving of tithe or offering. Which is okay, but he veered off to examining the business practices of Abraham, which were not really discussed so much in the Bible, and he ended up distorting the story and accusing father Abraham, Isaac and Jacob of things the Scripture tells us, they never did deliberately.
The lesson is that we should all learn how to do correct hermeneutics and avoid distorting, embellishing and sanitizing Bible stories to make them fit our "pet theologies" God is not happy with those who do such (Deut 4:2; 12:32; Rev 22:18-19)
May the Lord have mercy on him.

God is slow to wrath which means he can carry out wrath but not in a haste to give room for repentance. Ephesians 5:6(let no man deceive you...wrath of God on the children of disobedience).
He thinks he knows what nobody knows and criticizes others rudely, even running down Abraham who God didn't speak of in a derogatory way. Let him read 1 Corinthians 8 verse 2.

I was first sceptical about Abel Damina but when I attend tasters sessions of Rhema bible college in Nigeria I found that he is right and things he teaches are backed up by the scriptures.

The bible speaks of "the foolishness of God" Does it mean that God is foolish or have some degree of foolishness? Nooo God is not foolish. So when John says thr wrath of God why do you think God has wrath? We have God regreting and saying things like, "now i know" does it mean that he didnt know at first?

If the foolishness of God doesnt mean God is foolish or has some foolishness then why do we think the wrath of God means God has wrath?

He says that there is no scripture that describes lion in positive light.All of them are negative.
Did he read thisProv.28.1 - The wicked flee when no one pursues, But the righteous are bold as a lion.
We know that Jesus descends from the tribe of Judah.

Gen.49.9 - Judah is a lion's whelp; From the prey, my son, you have gone up. He bows down, he lies down as a lion; And as a lion, who shall rouse him?
If he says that the elders in the book of Revelation were Jews and ignorant,it would by extension imply that even peter being a Jew and an elder was ignorant too when he mentioned that the devil moves around like a roaring lion who he may devour.
It would have been prudent for Damina to seek to understand what lion of the tribe of Judah means rather than drawing conclusions out of ignorance.
Jesus is both a lamb and a lion.
He is both a saviour and the soon coming king.
He came with grace of a lamb and he will return with the justice of a king.
At least he should have known this.
