There’s a lot of truth in what you have said.
Our Christian values must be upheld everywhere we find ourselves, be it at work or a social gathering.
The Bible clearly says in 1 John 3:9, he that is born of God does not sin. When we accepted Christ, we also received the capacity to live above sin. Through the help of the Holy Spirit, we are expected to live a life that honors and pleases God, not men.
Sometimes, this might be difficult, but remembering the “WHY” behind our values will help us do what is right. Thank God we have the Holy Spirit to help us with this 🙏🏾

As a believer there are definitely alot of things out there we could find ourselves doing even before we know it but when we set boundaries the Holyspirit will help us.
From experience as a believer, i see boundaries as making a conscious effort just like what you described in the video, sometimes we get carried away and have this confidence that we can handle it while we can't.
And i will like to add that any atmosphere that doesn't glorify the name of the lord should be refused assertively and firmly. When a believer has assertiveness issues it will be used as a strategy in making decisions you didn't plan to. Shalom🎉
