National Geographic Power Rocket Demonstration

- This is the National Geographic Power Rocket. This is an electric motorized rocket that you set on a launch pad and there are three different settings, similar to the Air Hogs Sonic Rocket that I demonstrated 3 years ago. However, the big difference between the two rockets is that the National Geographic one has finds that open up and spin like a helicopter rotor as it falls to ensure that it is not damaged. It uses a rechargeable battery and has a USB cord to charge it. WARNING: If you are operating this rocket or any other toy involving projectiles, make sure you and others are clear of them and do not aim or point them towards people, animals, or property. It is recommended that you operate the rocket in a large, open space (like a field) to minimize injury, damage, or loss of the toy. Thank you very much for watching and please feel free to like, comment, share, and subscribe!

Thanks for the review. My rocket came with NO instructions and only 1 set of decals. I wasn't sure how to launch this thing. Thanks for the video.
You're very welcome and I'm glad that you were able to figure it out. Enjoy!
Awesome review,
Im here at target thinking of i should get this for my nephew, and after seeing your video i definitely am, thankbyou and Merry Christmas
Great idea! I’m sure he will like it. Thank you for watching and Merry Christmas to you too!
you are amazing i got one in a christmas present and i know how to use now
That’s awesome! Thank you very much for watching. Those rockets are fun to play with!
NB ensure the tabs at the base of the fins are engaged with the lugs. If this is not done, the fins open during flight and the rocket never really rises more than a few metres
That’s possible, and the tabs seem pretty flimsy since they are only made out of Styrofoam; therefore they are more likely to open during flight. Overall, I believe this isn’t the best toy, but it still does some good flights.
Excellent review man, thank you!!
genius design by the way, patent pending
You’re very welcome! The design is neat, especially the rotor that slows the rocket down. Thank you for watching and Merry Christmas!
Im getting one now thanks for demonstration
You’re very welcome and I hope you enjoy your new rocket. Thanks for watching!
Thank You for sharing this! I just bought one for a toy drive and I now how to charge it.
You’re very welcome! Thank you very much for watching too!

You’re very welcome! Glad it works and enjoy!
thanks for deomonstrating this
My pleasure! Thank you very much for watching!
I used men that I got for Christmas and it went so high I couldn’t see it because it wouldn’t stop going up and I some how found it 890 feet away lol
i love this channel
Thank you very much for watching!
Looks like polystyrene that could easily break if not careful
Yeah. It looks like this rocket is cheaply made and therefore will not last long especially with constant use.
Just tried one with my son. The rocket spun like crazy after launch, and only climbed to about 15 - 20 feet each time.
I am sorry to hear that. I’m guessing it was brand new and you tried all three settings. There are many possible reasons why it didn’t go up all the way. Wind can affect its performance as well as blow the rocket off course. Unfortunately I can’t say exactly why it doesn’t work like it’s supposed to, but if it was windy, you could try it on a calm day. You could also check any decals that are on the rocket in case they are misaligned (that could also interfere with its flight). Let me know if any of that helps.
@@andrewsstation6436 Thanks. Actually, I had no decals. Maybe they would help reduce resistance.
Mine did the same thing…helps to have a nice flat surface like the box that was used I found. Smallest wind can play a factor also…I had 2-3 out of 10 pretty high launches…I had to use 2-3 clicks minimum. The single click launch only went about 10 feet lol
Still neat and my son enjoyed it 👍🏻
@@BrunoEwok I had the same until I realised that you must ensure the tabs at the base of the fins are engaged with the lugs. If this is not done, the fins open during flight and flail around and the rocket never really rises more than a few metres
This remind me when I was growing up how me and my siblings would make stick figures then make parachutes out of plastic bags and tie each strings to the stick figure. We will go outside in the open wound that son bitch up and toss it in the air and watch it descends like a real paratrooper
Where did you buy power rocker 3 rockets I just found in Amazon with 1 rocket
I honestly don’t understand what you are talking about. Are you asking if I had three rockets in this kit? This only has one rocket.
The term "rocket" is a misnomer for this product.
why,,,, can't ,,,,, you,,,, talk,,,,,,,, normal,.......?
