I agree with basically everything you said here and my takeaway is to not let all the controversy effect us negatively (trust me I’ve been getting those “T13 better” comments too) and to simply take advantage of their boom to help grow the Stikbot community.

Also when you think about it klikbots can do the same thing as T13. Klikbots can do poses and you can mix and match parts. Also fun fact: the material for 3d printing plastic can melt or get soft if left in the sun or in warm temperatures. Also stikbots (as single packs) and klikbots are cheaper than one T13 figures. There's nothing wrong with owning a T13, but there are different options out there like stikfas, modi bots, and even fucking cube bots that could be used for stop-motion animations like stikbots and klikbots. It shouldn't really matter what you animate with as long as it good and most importantly than that you have fun with it!!! To all fanbots out there please don't get aggressive about this. At the end of the day T13 is just a another option for stop-motion and judging how it's advertised like tiktok brainrot it will more than likely be just a fad and nothing more. Plus getting aggressive about the T13 will make the stikbot community look toxic. If you really want to prove T13 wrong why not make content instead of listening to it. (Sorry if this was a long comment. I just wanted to get this off my chest.) In conclusion if you like stikbots and klikbots that's cool. If you don't like stikbots and kilkbots and prefer something like T13 that's cool too. Just don't let the thing you like become your whole personality. Find you own individually.

I still don’t like the Dinosaurs not because of them being inaccurate but the fact they had Pterosaurs, a lot of their branding calls everything in the line up Dinosaurs when there is a freaking Pterosaur, actually there is 2 due to the rare reskin
100% the best D/T13 video. I think that it would be very cool if they did market towards more animation/posing toys that are far more similar to themselves. Then they could gain a more Y2K esc Gen Y nostalgia content (What did I just type out) which are more familiar with stikfas, shockinis, xevoz etc. Then their content and audience is more diverse. I think another issue is that the customizability was intended to have YOU 3D print it. At the end of the day its a 3D printed figure, not intended for this commercial use. So yeah

I use to make stikbot videos, and played with them a lot when I was a kid. All that T13 have done is bring back that nostalgia i once had, and i have to admit, im glad T13 did that.
In summary, t13 may have better quality, but its soulless

PLEASE do a t13 v stick bot review. I personally prefer the t13 but I respect the stick bot because the community is mostly really nice and I used to play with them when I was younger. I would certainly like to see an unbiased review on both of them! Most of the t13 v stick bot stuff I’ve seen is REALLY biased and a change wouldn’t be bad

The thing I like about T13 is it is a free 3d print file. Takes me about 2 hours to make one. I have Stikbots and T13 (actually called Dummy 13) and I love them both for different reasons. Good video.
I actually took my Dummy 13 prints and added the suction cups to the hands and feet.

I own a couple stick bots and I own my own 3d printed dummy 13 (T13 isn’t the real name, its dummy 13, it was stolen from snoozaphone on printables, snoozaphone is the original) and I can say without any bias, stickbots = dummy 13, BUT Dummy 13 has so much more joints, and toe articulation. Plus you can change the armor on him! You can give him swords, helmets, and a lot more! Plus it’s free (not counting the 3d printer and filament) if you want I can do a comparison of the two.

Something to say: Stickbots have the advantage of nostalgia. I played with them growing up and while t13s seem cool, nostalgia is still powerful

I got my T13, and it kinda sucks. Some joints are loose, while some are very stiff. The assembly is the worst part.
I own a bunch of stikbots and I just ordered a bunch of t13 figures (I just ordered a pack of them off Amazon for the price of one from a dropshipper). You made some really great points in this video and I enjoy both of the figures equally.

As someone with a stikbot and half broken T13, i have to say that the t13, even though i had to glue one of its joints, is still more fun compared to stikbots, plus you can just 3d print and refine one at home for extremely cheap. The only thing that give stikbots a fair chance is that they are extremely unique, can make unnatural poses and can stick to smooth surfaces. Overall, i enjoyed the T13 way more.

The t13 is (I believe) a moded version of the Lucky 13 an open-source action figure. so can just ask a friend with a 3d printer to make you a lucky 13 and it will be basically the same thing.

this is a very mature response for gossip over a children's toys. I think T13's are unique to stikbots because you can make them fight with weapons while on the stikbot side they can climb walls, both of them are alternatives so people can choose if they want humanoid or simple.

As someone who builds gundams and warhammer and collects figures and statues. The t13s are pretty much reference figures for artists meant for posing.
Watching the T13 account compare themselves to stikbots is like watching someone compare a 500$ Hot Toys statute to a 10 dollar transformers toy.
