ahhhhhh. this brings back memories, i remember when i moved into a new school and everyone was playing geometry dash, so i decided to buy it with the little money i have (i was in 5th grade). so i listened to the og electroman adventures on the game and i thought it was epic. then i saw this remix later on! i made it my alarm and i always remember hearing this when i wake up before school, dang the years go by
when i was in middle school, I wasn't a fan of this more rock-esque remix. Here I am, about 6 years later, and I'm loving this. Back then I was like "How can you remix something that's already so perfect??" Now I'm here vibing my absolute socks off. This was an audio treat.
I listen to this when I play Cars 1 on Wii (fits very well) Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and bowser’s fury (if bowser is in his 3rd stage fury or if it’s just the final boss)

Story time!: You just beat the final boss of the hit console game, Electroman Adventures. You throw up your hands in victory. Your celebration is alone, of course, considering you've been on a gaming marathon for at least 12 hours now. The room is dark, illuminated solely by the artificial, white light of your TV screen. You walk out of your room and grab a soda from the fridge. You look at the clock. 2:15 AM. You rub your tired eyes and yawn. But then, your hear a buzzing sound coming from your room. You tiptoe cautiously back to your room and see a message flashing on the TV screen. "Insert Disc 2 to Continue." it says. You are puzzled by the message, as there is no Disc 2 that came with the game. Perhaps there's an extension pack? You eject the disc and put it back in the case. You begin to leave when you see a bright light turn on in front of you. You approach the light and find that it is coming from the disc case. You open up the case and see that the standard, blue tinted disc has been replaced a silver streaked one. "Electroman Adventures Disc 2" it reads in bold, blue letters. You pull out the disc and place it back in the console. The TV turns on and displays the opening menu. "Play!" You grab your controller and plop back down on the sofa. A new challenge awaits...
This one was subtle. Pretty good. I'm not sure if it fit the atmosphere of the song; the setting of a late night gaming session might seem a little more quiet to me. BUT this story had some really good descriptive sections such as 'The room is dark, illuminated solely by the artificial, white light of your TV screen.' Great job, and keep writing!
And then a Sandstorm blew away your house, including your clothes. You looked at the darn storm that did it, and there was God. There was.. Darude, god of all sandstormers on top of it. Then suddenly, a random commenter commented a terrible story replying to your comment. TH-cam Notified you, and the instant you saw it you were like "Aw shit, sandstorms, bad comments, they caused me to do this first." Then you flew away with your electrical powers to control the Electrons, and defeated Darude.
kg583 Ha. Geeks FTW. Kind of a sneaky approach too. By that I mean that it feels like your story is completely opposing the loudness of the track. The atmosphere is super mysterious, too, and it was short enough to be appealing. Anything can be written as a follow up now, it's great. I never would have expected this for a while. I'm impressed with the outcome. While electroman adventures was never actually a favorite of mine, a revamped version changed my opinion. I love all the instrument music involved in this. Good Job, 4.4/5

Alright, I already wrote a story for the first one and I'm honestly blanking today, so I'll just give you my opinion. The song was good, but that's because I like the original Electroman Adventures so much. Whether it's better, though...I don't know. It's definitely different, less...video-gamey and more the vibe of a live concert. A lot of good things were happening here, especially with the guitar samples. The solos were very creative, and I appreciate the intervals and such that you used. The voices saying 'Electroman' were a small surprise, but they were used sparsely enough to add to the piece rather than take away from it. The throwback around 2:18 or so was a really nice touch, too. Though there was an issue with this song that kind of goes hand in hand with Electroman Adventures 1. It's a little less prominent in this version since you changed quite a bit, but the tune only has three or four prominent stages that it cycles through, and for a four minute song, hearing a particular melody for the fifth time (I'm not actually counting, just noticed this) in a song can get a bit grating. But I didn't hear this issue in a lot of your newer songs, especially DuneRiders, which was a six-minute song. Granted, I haven't taken the time to REALLY listen to it yet, but I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and say that this issue is because it's a remake of an old song, and you can only do so much with a remake before it becomes a different song entirely. Overall, even with the small issues, Electroman Adventures v2 is a great song, that you can go 'oh, yeah, I remember that!' when you see it in your Subscription Feed. I would rate this song an 8.5/10. Hope this was helpful or uplifting to you in some way, Waterflame!

The first thing that crashes through my mind after i hear this masterpiece is back when geometry dash was the most popular thing ever, and being good at it got you free instant popularity at school. I specifically remember I always struggled on this level, and just listening to it again makes me wanna travel back in time and try complete this great game again. the V2 sounds very retro, still very catchy though.

Alright, I already wrote a story for the first one and I'm honestly blanking today, so I'll just give you my opinion.
The song was good, but that's because I like the original Electroman Adventures so much. Whether it's better, though...I don't know. It's definitely different, less...video-gamey and more the vibe of a live concert. A lot of good things were happening here, especially with the guitar samples. The solos were very creative, and I appreciate the intervals and such that you used. The voices saying 'Electroman' were a small surprise, but they were used sparsely enough to add to the piece rather than take away from it. The throwback around 2:18 or so was a really nice touch, too. Though there was an issue with this song that kind of goes hand in hand with Electroman Adventures 1. It's a little less prominent in this version since you changed quite a bit, but the tune only has three or four prominent stages that it cycles through, and for a four minute song, hearing a particular melody for the fifth time (I'm not actually counting, just noticed this) in a song can get a bit grating. But I didn't hear this issue in a lot of your newer songs, especially DuneRiders, which was a six-minute song. Granted, I haven't taken the time to REALLY listen to it yet, but I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and say that this issue is because it's a remake of an old song, and you can only do so much with a remake before it becomes a different song entirely.
Overall, even with the small issues, Electroman Adventures v2 is a great song, that you can go 'oh, yeah, I remember that!' when you see it in your Subscription Feed.
I would rate this song an 8.5/10. Hope this was helpful or uplifting to you in some way, Waterflame!
You're welcome! And I actually didn't know about the first one being modeled after NES soundtracks. Now the repetitiveness makes a lot more sense. Still doesn't change how I feel about it, but I at least know why you did it. Also I am so totally jealous of the instruments you use in FL Studio. Seriously.

The beginning could use some Lowpass that slowly fades out until the song is clear.
The percussion at 0:11 is a little awkward, but gets better at 0:40

The first thing that crashes through my mind after i hear this masterpiece is back when geometry dash was the most popular thing ever, and being good at it got you free instant popularity at school. I specifically remember I always struggled on this level, and just listening to it again makes me wanna travel back in time and try complete this great game again. the V2 sounds very retro, still very catchy though.
